After speaking, Kiran stormed out of the police station. His bodyguard trailed closely behind. Once they were outside, Kiran halted, spun around, and slapped the bodyguard hard across the face.

warmth, his gaze cold from the get-go. If it weren't for the powerful families backing her, including Sandy, Kiran might have already made his move against her

Sophie, clad in a loose nightgown, replied, "Mr. Angelo, what do you think you're doing, barging into someone's home in the dead of night?" "Sandy is missing. Was it you?"

"When did this happen? I had no clue. She was perfectly fine when she left this afternoon."

Sophie looked earnestly at Kiran, "Perhaps you should consider ifè you've erossed anyone lately. Could someone else be behind this? If you need help, I'll do whatever I can to assist."

Kiran seemed to be weighing the truth of her words.

"I've already had someone go through all the airport's flight lists. She didn't board any plane, so Sandy must still be in Summerfield." "Summerfield isn't too big or too small, but even if your people comb through every resident, they might still miss Sandy."

"I have my methods, but if I find out you took Sandy, no matter how it affects her, you'll be the first to go."

A chilling threat lingered in Kiran's eyes. Sophie knew he wasn't bluffing.
