Meanwhile, in Devonport, Adler and Jenna had been waiting at the airport for ages. Adler, with dark circles under his eyes, was so tired he was mistaking everyone for Sophie and Colby. "Jenna, we could've waited at home. They're not kids. They can't get lost, right?" Adler grumbled, "I could've gotten a few hours of sleep. I'll be driving while half-asleep later." "Fine, I'll drive then."

The thought of Jenna's driving instantly perked Adler up, "Actually... I think I'm good to drive."

At the airport, Sophie and Colby had just arrived. From a distance, they spotted the bickering Jenna and Adler.

Adler rushed over and hugged Colby tightly.

Jenna also dashed to Sophie, exclaiming, "Sophie, have you lost weight? That place abroad isn't fit for normal people, is it? Did Colby take good care of you?" "Everything's fine, but... why did you two come in person?"

Sophie glanced between Adler and Jenna. Letting go of Colby, Adler sniffed and said, "Jenna insisted on picking you guys up. Dragged me out of bed!"

"How could I trust anyone else with picking you up? Don't you know what's been happening in Devonport?"

Jenna took a deep breath and revealed, "The day after you left, S Corporation and Tredgold Corporation were hit hard. Just look at the dark circles under Adler's eyes, and you'll know it's been tough."

Sophie frowned, "Such a big deal, and you didn't even mention it?"

Adler grimaced, "We didn't want to worry you while you were abroad. Lennon is personally handling it, but Devonport has been chaotic lately. Suddenly, there are new underground casinos, and the Mintons' previously banned substances are circulating again, especially in nightclubs and bars. Some of our partners changed sides last minute.
