Chapter 31 Sophia Lawson Is in Big Trouble

The receptionist shook her head and said, "Sorry, I'm just a receptionist. Nobody tells me about the in-house affairs." It was true though!

It was the first time that Paul had seen Drake get the cold shoulder. Generally, if somebody knew Drake was here, they would show up immediately, and even do their utmost to take care of him. Martha also noticed this.

She came to them and said, "Hello! Mr. Riley and Mr. Parker."

Drake and Paul looked at her weirdly. They didn't seem to know Martha at all.

"Mr. Riley, Mr. Parker, I'm Martha McAdoo, the sales manager of this company. Could we talk now?"

The receptionist felt confused, but Martha had eye contact with her before she left as if to warn her - "If you tell the boss about it, you will be fired."

Martha was not anxious but said gently, "Sophia caused the imprisonment of your grandfather and sister. Don't you want to see revenge?"

It took Martha a long while to come back to life. She could only hold her breath.

Paul followed behind and asked, "Mr. Riley, what should we do now? Go to talk to Ms. Lawson?"
