Revenge Of The Billionaire Girl -
Chapter 52 I Have a Son
Flynn wasn't insulting Sophia. He was saying the truth.
"Do you think there is anything else that we don't know about her?"
Sophia's appearance was, at first, a surprise to Drake. And now, it had become a mystery.
He had known her for three years and he thought that he knew her very well. But it was only now that he realized that he didn't know her at all.
...
Sophia brought the news back to the company, and everyone was very happy.
Although the Skylane Group had done a lot of things since they came here, nothing had given them such a sense of accomplishment.
Among the four successful groups, their company was the only one that had not been listed.
Of course, even so, they had enough cash and experience.
However, this project would get the company to a higher level.
Sophia was also very happy. She said with a smile, "I have already booked a large box in the bar. Let's go! My treat!"
"Yeah!"
People were very excited.
Sophia's cell phone rang. It was Bard calling.
"Sophia, I heard you won this bid."
"Bard, you are very well informed!" Sophia had a smile on her face.
"Of course, it becomes the trending topic on the Internet. You have one more identity now. People are talking about you in particular. No one thought that you were the head of the Skylane Group. " Sophia had thought of this, so she didn't care at all.
"But they should calm down now, otherwise, they would be so shocked once they find out your other identities."
Sophia smiled.
After breaking up with Drake that year, Sophia had made up her mind to focus on her career instead of men. Therefore, she chose places all over the world. She didn't miss out on any well-developed places.
It had only been a short period of time, but her companies developed very well.
"By the way, Bard, we are going to celebrate tonight, come with us!"
"Sure!"
Bard would never miss any chance to have fun.
They hung up.
At this moment, Sophia's cell phone rang again. She quickly picked it up. "Ms. Glass!"
Hearing the familiar voice, Emma smiled. "Sophia, how have you been in Sealand?"
Sophia smiled, "Of course, very good. I recently got a big project from the government. I'll treat you to dinner when I go back."
"I heard about it, it's the project about building flyovers all over the city, right? Sophia, you are excellent."
"I wouldn't be where I am today without your cultivation over the years, Ms. Glass." What Sophia said was true.
She met Emma when she was seven years old. Emma was a very knowledgeable woman. She was excellent in all domains.
The two hit it off right away. So, the Lawson family invited Emma to tutor her. Sophia learned a lot from Emma.
"You are joking. Sophia, over the years, I have been treating you as my daughter. I am happier than anyone else seeing that you are doing well."
"By the way, Ms. Glass, how have you been?"
"I'm fine, but I'm planning to visit you in Sealand after things are over here."
Sophia was very happy when she heard this. "Great, I will pick you up when you come."
"It's okay, didn't I tell you? I actually have a son. For so many years, we have been in contact with each other by phone and have never met in person. When I go back this time, I would like to see him too."
Sophia of course knew Emma's situation. Emma was an excellent woman but she had an unsuccessful marriage. Her husband cheated on her when she was very young. She left home and was forced to separate from her son. She had been alone for so many years.
But now, her son was an adult. Even if her ex-husband didn't agree, they couldn't do anything.
"He will be very happy to see you."
Sophia said sincerely.
"I hope so. We have never met each other over the years. Although we talked well on the phone, I'm not sure whether he hates me or not."
"He won't. You haven't remarried these years, isn't it just for this day?"
Emma smiled. "Sophia, what about you? Are you seeing anyone recently?"
Sophia knew that Emma hadn't seen all the news about her. After all, Emma had other things to do, and she didn't have time to pay attention to so much news.
"Ms. Glass, you know it. I don't want to date anyone anymore." Having been hurt once was enough a lesson.
"What are you talking about? You and I are not the same. I am married and have a child, so I have something to look forward to in my life. You didn't even get married, nor did you have a child. How can you not date anyone? Besides, there are plenty of good men in this world, how about this, let me introduce my son to you when I meet him. I heard he is single."
Sophia smiled. "Ms. Glass, wouldn't it be better to have me as your daughter?"
"That won't work, if I have such a good daughter, I have to introduce her to my own son. Why would I let any other boys take advantage?" Sophia was helpless.
"I know you haven't let go of that man completely, but, Sophia, let the past be the past. Why don't you have a try with my son? Maybe you guys will hit it off." Sophia kept smiling but didn't say anything.
"Okay, then. When I go back, I'll call you and introduce my son to you. Even if you can't be lovers, you can be friends."
"OK!"
Sophia hung up the phone.
Chloe, who heard everything, said with a smile, "Ms. Glass is right, Sophia, you can't always live in the memory of the past."
Sophia denied it. "Who said I live in the memory of the past?"
"Okay, okay, you don't. So, try to date Ms. Glass' son. Think about it, Ms. Glass is such an amazing person, her son won't be an idiot." Sophia didn't want to think about that. She cared only about her work.
...
At the Lane manor.
Emilia's hands trembled when she saw the news.
Sophia was not only in charge of the Summersky Group but also the Skylane Group... How could Sophia be so smart?
Emilia couldn't believe it. She told herself that Sophia must have achieved everything with the help of many men.
