Chapter 76 Cecelia Throws a Bank Card in Sophia's Face

After Mrs. Jones finished her words, she left.

Chloe walked up to Sophia. "Sophia, do you believe what she said?"

"Why not? She doesn't have to lie to me."

"But Drake..."

"Just ignore him!"

Sophia had said that she wouldn't care no matter what Drake did.

Yes, she wouldn't give a damn about him.

After work, Sophia went to the Summersky Group since Bard hadn't got off work yet. In the past few days, Sophia had dedicated herself to work and hadn't left the Skylane Group. Summersky Group had been on the right track under Bard's management.

When Sophia walked into the building, she met Martha again.

Martha was at the same height as Sophia. When they bumped into each other, she gave off a vibe as powerful as Sophia.

Because of what had happened, she looked at Sophia with hatred in her eyes.

Sophia, however, only glanced at her and was about to leave.

Martha gritted her teeth. "Sophia Lawson, I will never forget the humiliation you made me suffer."

Sophia smiled. "When did I humiliate you? And, I'm your leader. Don't you know how to show your leader some respect?"

How ridiculous! Martha even called her by her full name!

"Stop pretending as if you had no idea. You know what Mr. Riley has done to me after you left."

"I knew nothing about it," said Sophia, sneering.

"Sophia Lawson, stop lying!" Martha clenched her fists.

Sophia glanced at her clenched fists with a sarcastic smile. "Martha, don't act like the victim here. You know what you have done. I don't mind teaching you another lesson if you can't learn Mr. Riley's lesson. I advise you to better behave yourself!"

Walking past her, Sophia went to Bard's office.

Because his office wasn't far away, Bard heard the conversation between them.

"What has happened?"

Sophia did not plan to tell him, but since he had overheard her conversation with Martha, she told the whole story to him patiently.

"Drake again? Who does he think he is to you? I would have avenged you. You don't need him!"

Sophia smiled and said, "Just leave him alone. I don't care at all about what he does."

Bard looked at her. "But it seems we can't keep Martha here anymore.

In fact, Martha was pitiful. She had worked hard and left her family to be here just to realize her career dream.

Sophia could empathy with Martha. But it didn't mean Sophia would forgive her for what she had done.

Although Martha had reasons to do so, what she had done was wrong and Sophia would not let her off the hook.

They walked out of the building. Before they could get into the car, someone showed up in front of Sophia and threw a bank card in her face. "Sophia, you stayed here because you want money, right? Get the hell out of Sealand with the money. There is ten million dollars in the bank card!"

Cecelia said with hatred.

She wanted to skin Sophia alive at the thought of what Drake had done for her.

Bard didn't care that Cecelia was a woman at all, he pushed her, "What's wrong with you? Are you out of your fucking mind?"

Cecelia was pushed back and staggered back and sank to the ground.

"Who are you? I am Cecelia Price, the lady of the Price family! How dare you push me! My family won't let you go!"

Bard was not afraid. "Great! I'd like to see how your family will get back at me!"

"Bring it on!"

Cecelia tried to stand up when Bard kicked her again.

"Have I allowed you to stand up?"

His kick was hard and Cecelia's face turned pale in pain. She found it hard to breathe.

Sophia watched and didn't mean to help her out at all.

After a long while, Cecelia said, "I will make you pay the price!"

"Bring it on!"

Anyway, Bard had been a troublemaker since he was a child. But their parents would never blame him if his purpose of making trouble was to protect his sister. Cecelia bit her lip and looked at Sophia. "Sophia, you should know that my family can destroy you both!"

"So, you want us to apologize?"

"Yes. Apologize now and I will consider letting you go this time."

Sophia smiled, picked up the bank card from the ground and threw it in Cecelia's face. "You'd wish."

After that, Sophia and Bard were done talking to her and walked to the car.

Cecelia had never been humiliated like this and tried to get up from the ground. "Sophia, you should know the consequences of going against the Price family!"

"I am not Emilia Lane. If Drake knew what you have done to me, he would avenge me!"

"So what if you have the Summersky Group and the Skylane Group? My family will trample on you as if killing an ant if we want to!"

After returning home, Cecelia immediately told her parents what had happened.
