Revenge On My First Love -
Chapter 416 Let Go Of My Daughter
Chapter 416 Let Go of My Daughter
Travis didn't take Drake's suggestions. He insisted inside the room, "No. Everything should be well prepared."
Drake had to accept it.
"All right. Drake, another question. Who will be in charge of your family finance?"
Drake smiled. "Sophia."
"Where are your bank cards? If you don't give them to Sophia, you cannot enter."
"I bought them along. How will I give them to Sophia if I cannot get in?"
Bard answered, "Seen the crack under the door. Push your cards in. All of them."
"No! I must hand them to my wife in person."
"Wait! Sophia isn't your wife yet."
"We've registered."
For Drake, the past five days were more torturing than the past two years. He had married Sophia but couldn't be with her all the time. Finally, their wedding day was coming, but he had to deal with his brothers-in-law, who deliberately gave him a hard time.
Drake became impatient. "Remove this door!" he ordered.
Bard choked on his words.
Edwin roared, "Drake, what the hell do you want to do? Tear down my house?"
"I'll consider it."
Everyone was impressed as it was Drake's style.
Sophia chuckled, "Enough. Enough. We don't have much time. You should stop it."
Chloe disagreed, "Sophia, you've already taken Drake's side, right? At my wedding, you guys asked Bailey for many wedding gifts. Think I don't know?" Sophia beamed at her in silence. In fact, she was just worried about if everything could go as scheduled.
"Open it or not?" Drake asked.
Bard and Edwin looked over at Travis, as he was the oldest brother.
Travis answered, "Open the door."
Others who thought they could do something else were disappointed.
Therefore, they reluctantly opened the door.
Drake was about to kick the door open. Right after the door was open, he strode towards Sophia.
Chloe was about to complain he was stingy. However, the wedding gifts from Flynn made her bite back the words on her lips.
Bard poked her forehead helplessly. "You little moneygrubber."
"We sent out so many wedding gifts on our wedding day. I want to get some returns," Chloe retorted.
Bailey thought she was indeed lovely, heaving a sigh.
Drake couldn't tear his gaze off Sophia.
Feeling shy, Sophia cast her eyes down to dodge his gaze.
Seeing them both keep silent, Chloe prompted, "Hey? Who's eager to go out? Why are you silent now?"
Drake watched Sophia greedily. Although he had seen her in the wedding gown earlier, he didn't expect her to look so stunning on the wedding day.
He had repeatedly imagined the day when Sophia married him. However, when it happened in real life, he felt thrilled.
He could hardly believe they were getting married.
Five days ago, they got the marriage certificates. Drake had been thinking and watching. Many times, he could have called or messaged Sophia. However, without her beside him, he always felt they were far away.
At this moment, he finally realized they were getting married and would be together again.
While Drake was lost in thought, Flynn and Bailey decided to help him. They sneaked to approach him and pushed him fiercely.
"Go ahead, Drake."
Drake lost his balance and fell to Sophia. Afraid Sophia was bumped, his hands propped up on her either side to distance himself from her.
In such a short distance, Sophia looked more charming.
Without hesitation, Drake kissed her.
"Wow!" all the youngsters except for Sophia's brothers cheered.
Watching the scene, Laura smiled delightfully.
However, Abbott was angry. He rushed up and snapped, "Let go of my daughter, you brat!"
"Enough," Laura stopped him, "They have a daughter already. What else can you do?"
Thinking of Bonnie, Abbott had to stop and stand aside.
Finally, he couldn't stand the scene and decided to leave the room.
Sophia hurriedly pushed Drake away. "Enough. Stop making trouble. Our wedding needs to go on."
If possible, Drake wouldn't care about the wedding but take her home, yet they had to undergo the procedure.
Bard reminded Drake, "Wait, Drake! You promised to give Sophia all your bank cards. You can't lie to us. Where are your bank cards?"
Drake pulled out his wallet from his pocket and passed it to Sophia. "Those are all my properties. From now on, they are yours."
Sophia was startled as she had never thought of it before.
Bard prompted anxiously, "Sophia, what are you thinking about? Take them all."
Drake also gestured at her to do so. In fact, even if Bard hadn't reminded him, he would do so.
Sophia took his wallet over.
Then they passed through all the different phases of the wedding ceremony. Since they didn't have enough time, the guests didn't make too much fun of the new couple. After all, Drake would take Sophia back to Sealand. Then the youngsters could have fun again.
Drake carried Sophia in his arms. From that moment on, she was ultimately his wife.
Fortunately, she married the man she loved, and her future should be promising.
Drake and Sophia sat in the jet in the lead. Others, including Bonnie, sat in other jets.
Bonnie asked anxiously, "Can't I stay in the jet with Papa and Mommy?"
Laura answered, "Not today, Bonnie."
"Why not?"
"It's your parents' wedding day. They must have a private space. After today, you can be with them together."
"I see."
Although Bonnie answered, she might not quite understand the meanings.
The Greenspans attended the wedding as well. They sent only Jessica and Aiden. Jessica watched Sophia marry Drake without blinking.
She felt jealous, wondering why Sophia could be spoiled by everyone and have found an excellent husband like Drake.
She believed it was all because of Sophia's strong family background.
Jessica wondered if Drake would marry her if she were like Sophia and decided to make trouble for their wedding.
But currently she needed to keep herself invisible, lest others, including her unreliable father, read her real thoughts.
Sitting in the jet, Drake saw Noah standing in a corner.
Noah didn't attend Sophia's wedding, and Drake didn't wish to see him, either.
