The next second, Drake kissed Sophia's lips.

Sophia was kidding with him and didn't expect him to take it seriously.

"Wait!"

She tried to push him away, but Drake gave her no chance.

He even deepened his kiss.

From where Rashad was standing, he could see them. After Drake pulled Sophia away, he saw them interact. He knew what his mother had done earlier but he didn't stop her because he wanted Emma and Drake to grow disappointed in Sophia.

Much to his surprise, things were more complicated than he had expected. It turned out that he needed to try harder to ruin their relationship.

Especially when Rashad saw Drake and Sophia kiss passionately, fury surged in his chest.

Rashad gulped down the wine in his goblet in one go as if he had nothing to do with those matters. However, he squeezed his goblet so hard that he almost crushed it.

When Flynn looked for Drake and Sophia and walked over, he saw the scene and turned around immediately.

Since he needed to show something to Drake urgently, Flynn could only remind them, "Hey, you guys! Can you spare me the PDA? Go get a room, will you?"

As soon as Sophia left the ladies' room, Jessica reached out her foot, thinking no one paid attention.

After all, there were many guests in the hall. If Sophia tripped over, she might expose something under her dress. In that case, she would be embarrassed.

While imagining, Jessica suddenly felt a foot stamping hers. "Ouch!" she cried out in pain.

"Why would I have stamped on it if you hadn't?"

Before Jessica continued, Sophia asked, "All the people present are guests invited by the Riley family. Do you think I'll take the initiative to give you a hard time tonight?" "Oh... I understand. Did you reach out your foot to trip me over? I'm sorry for disappointing you."

Holding a goblet, Sophia walked to the president of Cannon Group. "Excuse me, Mr. Stark. I didn't expect you to bring such a date to our party. Aren't you afraid she would embarrass you?" "Come here, Jessica," he called.

Jessica swung towards him, looking aggrieved. "Mr. Stark, it's not what you've thought. I was..."

"Shut up! Don't you know what an occasion this is? How dare you have done such a thing! You'll never be my date in any event in the future."

Jessica narrowed her gaze at him. Although Mr. Stark didn't know who had asked him to do so, Jessica knew. Also, the man was on the scene tonight. She was sure Mr. Stark would annoy that man.

Since he apologized sincerely, Sophia didn't insist on blaming him. In Sophia's mind, maybe Jessica had done this thing secretly and it had nothing to do with Mr. Stark.

Molly scowled at the scene. Just now, she wished Sophia would embarrass herself in public. However, Sophia managed to solve it easily.

Her grandfather might have sensed her weirdness and reminded her in a low voice, "This is an important occasion. You shouldn't cause any trouble even if you want. Understand?" Molly indeed wanted to do something after Jessica had failed. However, her grandfather's reminder changed her mind.
