Richest Mogul -
Chapter 1539
Harvey felt that finding a girlfriend or getting married was all about luck.
If one was unlucky and ended up with the wrong person, he would regret it. So, when it came to relationships, it would be wise to avoid unnecessary heartbreak if one could.
Charles gave Harvey a thumbs up. "As expected of my brother."
Skylar and Steven exchanged a glance, both feeling a bit exasperated. Those two probably just weren't at the right age yet.
When they truly met someone they loved someday, all these bold declarations would become meaningless words.
As soon as Skylar and Steven left, Charles pulled Harvey aside. "Be honest with me. You're telling me you really didn't have a girlfriend in college? Or are you just embarrassed to admit you broke up?" Harvey sighed, exasperated. "No girlfriend. I was busy and have no time for a girlfriend."
"Fair enough. Between studying, gaming, and competing, you probably really didn't have much free time," Charles agreed but still looked skeptical.
"But listen, you look like me too handsome for your own good. There's no way you won't have people clinging to you in the future.
"When that happens, if you like a girl, just tell me. I'll help you vet her. Your brother here is an expert at spotting manipulative girls. I guarantee you won't get tricked by some gold digger."
Harvey's mouth twitched. He was beginning to regret not leaving with Steven and Skylar. "Charles, I'm not stupid."
Anyone trying to deceive him would find it a tough task.
"You've just graduated from college, so you haven't seen much yet. Trust me on this," Charles said confidently.
He himself had been steadfast these past few years, determined not to get involved in relationships.
Harvey didn't bother responding. He knew Charles too well. He might be all talk about avoiding marriage now, but one day, he could very well get married in secret without a word.
Harvey looked at his phone and said, "The public opinion is already starting to shift. Do you want to see their daughter's photo?"
"No, I'm not curious about her.
Besides, this whole mess was
stirred up by Finn and Miriam. It has little to do with her. It's best if she

about her," Charles replied,

uninterested.
He was just an ordinary person with his own priorities and preferences. They wanted him to donate a kidney to a complete stranger he'd never met, but it was impossible.
He would do it in a heartbeat if it were for someone he loved and cared deeply about. But for anyone else? Not a chance.
Harvey nodded. "You're right; there's no need to know too much about her."
At 10:00 pm, the night had become silent, and traffic on the roads had thinned out.
Finn and Miriam had just finished showering and were getting ready for bed when the phone rang.
The loud ringtone startled both of them.
Miriam immediately urged Finn,
"Answer it quickly! They must have finally caved and called you. But seriously, why call now of all times? They didn't call earlier but instead disturbed us at this hour!"
"Alright!" Finn rushed to grab his phone from the bedside table, visibly excited. He'd been waiting all day.
Even while he was showering earlier, his heart had been racing, worried that something unexpected might happen.
