Finn wanted to stop her, but it was too late.

Miriam snatched the phone from Finn's hand, found the number, and dialed it using her own phone.

After a few rings, the call was connected.

"You're Janine, right? I'm Miriam Nicholson, Finn's wife. I have something to discuss with you." Miriam's tone was overbearing right from the start.

These people, who were testing the limits of decency, weren't worth spoiling Janine's mood. No one had the right to threaten his woman. Janine hesitated for a moment before handing the phone to Ted.

Taking the phone, Ted spoke directly into it. "Miriam, is it? I know your father. He's currently living at the nursing home in the western part of Jipsburg, right?
