Zeke

Waking up with Magnolia snuggled up against my side, and her arm draped across my chest is amazing. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d have a mate, I mean other than a ferret. But to be mated to a wolf, an Alpha to be exact, who is also mated to other strong supernatural beings, never crossed my mind. It’s still so hard to wrap my brain around.

Her pack will never let her go, and I think we all know that especially after that call from the Beta she’s supposed to mate. A war is coming, and we all need to be ready. I’m not much of a threat in my ferret form, but in my human one, I can kill like no other. Hell, they don’t call me Bone Crusher for nothing. You just don’t get a name like that unless you’ve crushed a few. If only I could supe up my ferret form, turn it into a superhuman ferret, or some shit like they do in those human Marvel movies where the puny guy gets bitten by a spider and gains power. Something I plan to talk to Wylla about, maybe sooner rather than later.

Lifting my head and looking over Magnolia’s body, I see Blaine, deep asleep and hanging halfway off the bed. Looking over the other way, I see Wylla’s bed is empty. She must have stayed in our room last night, giving us some alone time. One thing I know for sure, we need a bigger bed for Magnolia, especially with all of us, and if more than one of us plans to sleep with her at a time. This tiny a*s bed is for the birds.

Reaching up, I rub my eyes with the heel of my palm before taking my fingers and raking them through my hair. F**k! We need to get up! Our mate needs to eat, we need to formulate a plan on how we’re going to handle the Exodus pack, and who these other mates are. Tilting my head down, I k**s Magnolia on the top of her head, smelling the mixture of Blaine and my scent on her. My ferret is chirping with happiness at being mated. Using my hand, I gently shake Magnolia’s shoulder as I whisper to her, “Time to get up, pretty wolf. Wake up, sleepyhead.”

She nestles deeper into me. “I don’t want to. Can’t we stay like this all day?” she mumbles into my chest as she moves her leg over mine, grazing against my already hardening c**k.

“I’d love to, babe, but if we don’t get up, Blaine’s going to end up on the floor.” She lifts her head as I tell her, looking over her shoulder, and lets out a soft chuckle. Just to prove my point to her, I reach over her and smack him right across the back of his head. Sure enough, he jumps up with a startle and falls down onto the floor with a thud.

Magnolia and I burst into laughter at Blaine’s expense. “F*****g a*****e!” he growls out as he jumps up from the floor, causing me to cover my eyes, not wanting to see his c**k flapping in the wind. But from the gasp our little she-wolf lets out, she’s enjoying the show.

Magnolia calms down long enough to lean in and k**s me deeply before rolling out of the bed, moving over to Blaine, wrapping her arms around him, and kissing him as well. He sticks up his hand behind her back and flips me off. Letting them have their moment, I get up slowly, pick up my abandoned clothes from the floor, and get dressed. Pulling my shirt over my head, I decide it’s time to break them up. They haven’t moved from each other’s arms since she went to him.

“Okay, time to break it up. Blaine, you need to get dressed, so our girl can get a shower while we wake up the two upstairs.”

Our girl lets out a little whine at us leaving her.

“Oh, none of that now. Z’s right. We need to get dressed, feed you, and talk to my dad. He needs to know we’re mated now,” Blaine tells her, which appeases her for a minute.

“We also need to invest in a bigger bed,” I interject.

“Who are you telling? I was the one who was hanging on for dear life and ended up on the floor.”

Blaine pulls on his jeans, then reaches down, picks up his other discarded clothing and shoes, and heads for the door. “Come on, Z. Let’s wake them up. Magnolia, baby, shower, and we’ll be right back.”

She gives us a little pout as we leave the room, which makes me giddy inside.
