Chapter 4

Jude

I’m headed back up to the room I share with my two best friends. We’ve been friends since we were kids when we all ended up at the same supe camp. Our parents sent us away for two months that summer so we could get a handle on our abilities. Up until then we knew each other from school but didn’t hang in the same groups, since we were different types of supernaturals. We’re all close in age, and this is our first year here at Arcayne University. Technically, Z and I could’ve started earlier, but we made a pact that we would start together. So now that Blaine is nineteen, here we are.

Holy f*****g macaroni… our downstairs neighbor is sexy as hell.I wasn’t expecting that at all. I thought I’d quickly run that package down to the neighbors and come right back. I didn’t expect the door to be opened by a little, rainbow-haired, s*x goddess with what seemed like a carefree attitude. She swung open the door, looking unimpressed as I told her about the package. She took the package from me and placed it on the bed, then slammed the door in my face.

Such a f*****g turn-on.

Getting back to my dorm room, I open the door, walk straight to my bed, and flop backward, sighing loudly. Right away, Blaine and Z take their gaming headsets off and ask me what’s up.

Groaning, I start telling them about the adventure of meeting Wylla. “Bros, I took that package to the room below us, right? Okay, so I knock on the door, and I hear some bitching about being interrupted, and I’m instantly thinking like ‘f**k, the downstairs neighbor is a bitch, right? We’re gonna get so many complaints for being loud when we party. This year’s gonna suck big time.’”

They nod their heads in unison at me, so I continue, “Okay, so then the door flies open, and standing in front of me is the sexiest piece of a*s I’ve ever seen. She was all of five-foot-six, with light gray eyes, and rainbow-colored hair. She’s also covered in grayscale tattoos and has a f*****g septum piercing. She’s f*****g hot and will be starring in all my filthy dreams.”

“Did you get a pic of her or does she have a SupeChat profile?” Blaine asks, his interest piqued at her description.

“No pic, sorry, man. No clue about social media, but we could look. She did say she was going to the mixer tonight with her roommate and asked if I was going, which I told her there was no way in hell. Then get this, she walked her two fingers right up my chest and said ‘what a shame, we’d love to dance with a guy like you,’ I literally almost came in my f*****g pants.”

They’re both laughing and cracking jokes about the whole interaction. They’re lucky we’re best friends or I’d punch the shit out of both of them.

“Blaine, man, are you still going to the mixer?”

“Yeah, let me guess, you want to change your mind about tagging along now?” he quickly asks me before pausing a moment to take the win while Z isn’t paying attention to the game they are playing.

“Hell yeah, I am. I’m going to go and find that little s*x goddess, and I f*****g pray her roommate is just as sexy. We could make a Jude sandwich tonight,” I say as I throw a wink at my friends.

They both roll their eyes at me, then Z sighs and says, “It must be a requirement to be hot as hell to get into the university.” Blaine and I both stare at him questioningly. Guess I wasn’t the only one to find a hottie.

“So speaking of hotties, I was in the woods today in my shifted form. I just needed to shift since it’s been a while and I thought the woods, especially how deep I was, would’ve been safe from prying eyes,” he whispers the last part.

“Zeke! You know we don’t care what your shifted form is. You need to stop being so embarrassed about it. Not like you had a f*****g choice in the matter, man. Own that shit,” Blaine scolds him, and I nod my head in agreement

Z just shrugs. “Anyway, I was just rolling in some leaves letting my animal stretch his legs when this pure white wolf came barrelling into the clearing. The wolf shifted into the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen. I quickly scurried up the tree and hid on the branch above her.”

We both start to interrupt him, wanting more details on what she looked like. But Z doesn’t let us, he shushes us both before continuing.

“Get this, she’s naked as the day she was born since she just shifted, whatever, no biggie. But then she walked over to the tree I was in, sat at the bottom, and played herself like a well-tuned instrument. After she came, she noticed me watching her and called me to come to her. Of course, I f*****g listened, and she picked me up and nestled me into her tits, stroking me and telling me all about her crush on her roommate.”

We’re both staring at him wide-eyed because no f*****g way he’s telling the truth. Who would pick up another shifter and hold them? That’s not quite “normal” for supernaturals.

“It gets better, or well at least for me, it did. As she was petting me and telling me about her crush, I licked the leftover cream off her fingers. Guys, she tasted like f*****g heaven. Then, when she was finished sharing her drama with me, she put me down, said bye, shifted back, and was gone. I had such a f*****g hard-on as I walked back here to our room.”

Blaine is howling in laughter, and I join him because this is f*****g epic. I can’t believe Z was bold enough to lick the female’s fingers. I can’t believe she let him. When I pull myself together, I tell him I think he is full of shit.

“Z, there is no way in hell another shifter would let you do that. Hell, you’re making it sound almost as if she didn’t even know you were one. She’d have to have been raised under a rock not to recognize what you really are. But I’ll give you props, that’s a damn good story,” I jokingly confront him.

“No man, I swear it. She must not know about all the shifters. Believe me, I was just as shocked as you. No one has ever just picked me up and held me. The way her juice smelled on her fingers as they stroked me, I couldn’t help myself. I had to taste it. I’ll prove it to you assholes, I’ll go to the mixer and point her out to you guys if she’s there.”

“DEAL!” Blaine and I say in unison.
