Rogue Warriors of Lorr
Stolen by the Alien Prince Chapter 16

Gianna wanted to die. At that moment, after all she had been through and looking at a life with even worse prospects, she wanted to die. She did. She wished for it. But she also wished for Kozien. She wasn't prepared for the horror that was coming, and she As much as she wanted him, it was more shocking when she heard a heavy slam and thick boots land against the ground. She opened her eyes, looking up at the scene.

desperately wanted him there, to comfort and protect her.

Kozien stood a few steps away, holding a blaster. It didn't even take him five seconds to pull the trigger and shoot Oxxaro. He flew off the bed, slamming into the wall, shaking the entire room.

She didn't have time to process before Kozien pulled her off the bed, and she let him. She was too stunned, too shaken up, to stand on her feet. She didn't think there was a chance she would be saved.

"Kozien." She softly spoke his name as he swiped his card to unlock one of the doors and carried her down the hallway. He kicked the door shut behind them and ran, trying to put as much distance as he could between them and the room, when the main door swung open.

"Fuck!" someone cursed, but she didn't look over Kozien's shoulder. She was afraid to see the scene. She'd seen a dead body before, and she'd seen blood. But she didn't want to witness Oxxaro's body once more.

She curled her head into Kozien's shoulder for a second, taking in the smell and feel of him. She was safe. Not safe from the situation at hand, but safe from being forced into something she didn't want.

"Gianna," Kozien whispered her name, pulling her attention back to the situation. "Can you walk?" he asked, and she nodded. They were in a hallway, but she didn't know where they were.

He placed her feet on the ground, but they shook. She held on to him as he guided her down the hallway. She could hear a commotion behind them and knew it would only grow.

The shouting grew louder, and the more they walked, the tighter Kozien's hand grew on hers.

He turned and pulled open a tiny door. She couldn't figure out what the space was meant for but didn't bother thinking too much about it before she crawled inside. She wasn't sure they would both fit, and she was afraid he was going to leave her.

But as she crawled into the space, she could hear Kozien coming in behind her. Her heart settled for a second as he tried to shimmy the door shut. She swallowed, hoping it would close.

The door shut and sealed Kozien and her together. She sighed, relieved, finally feeling they could settle for a second.

"Gianna," he said her name, bringing her to look over her shoulder at him.

"Yes?"

"We can't stop," he said softly. "We can't stop, yet."

She understood. She kept crawling, going down the narrow duct, and didn't stop until she got to another door. She popped it open, peering into the outside world.

Shouts and the pounding of feet alerted them to the guards swarming the building, but they all seemed to be rushing away, probably going to Oxxaro's room to assess the situation before fanning out to find her. They had to move fast before the guards regrouped. She crawled out and helped Kozien after her. He grabbed her hand, pulling her forward until they got to a shadow-covered area.

Finally, Kozien pulled them to a stop. He started to take deep breaths, trying to catch his breath. Gianna did the same, rubbing her arms as a shiver ran up her body.

Kozien noticed and dug through his cloak, pulling out her robes and placing them over her. He gave her a soft smile before he unclipped his wrist-comm and attached it to hers. He rubbed her arms, trying to warm her up. "Let's get you a little covered," he said, pulling the cloak tighter around her.

"Thank you," she whispered back, giving him a soft smile.

He glanced around and sighed. "We need to keep moving."

Kozien grabbed her hand once more, guiding her down a crowded path away from the building. She tried to take in her surroundings, but a small spaceship came into view before she could.

Kozien pulled the door open and tugged Gianna inside. The door slammed shut behind them both, and he helped her into a seat.

"Get comfortable." He gave her shoulder a gentle squeeze.

The spaceship took off, and suddenly she realized something. "My brother," she said. "They told me they would kill him if I didn't give Oxxaro what he wanted."

Kozien glanced at her for a second before looking back to flying the ship. "Well, Oxxaro is dead, so I don't entirely know where everything else lands."

"We can't leave," she said, on the verge of tears.

"We will get him," he told her, and she felt like it was a promise. "But first, we need to get you some rest. We need to think straight."

She nodded, agreeing. He had a point. They needed a plan.

She relaxed into the cushion of her seat as Kozien piloted the transport. She felt her mind drift off, thinking about how close she had been to being raped. Seconds away.

Kozien docked the ship in a safe zone on the station. She looked at him, confused, "What are we doing?"

"This is borrowed," he said, giving her a smile. "We are going to get on my ship."

They both got up and got off. Kozien walked her down until they came to another ship. She was too tired to take anything in or look around. She wanted a nap. No, that wasn't long enough. She wanted to sleep for days. "You can sleep when we get inside," he said, pulling her close. "You look like you need it."

She looked away, seeing the name on the ship. PulXar Star Cruiser.

She felt her eyes growing heavy and didn't even realize they were in a small sleeping bunk until she felt the sheets being pulled around her.

Kozien watched her, taking in the cloak covering half of her, the skimpy outfit hiding little. He sighed, finally able to breathe.

Gianna was okay. She was safe, and that was the most important thing to him.

"I'll let you sleep," he said, wanting to be the gentleman. After seeing her almost forced into sex, he was grateful to see her able to relax. He didn't want to ruin that.

"No," she said as her eyelids flew open. "Don't leave me." He could see the terror on her face. "Please."

Kozien lowered himself next to her, pulling her into his arms. She relaxed into his body and rested her head against his shoulder, her arms held close to his chest.

He pulled her closer, feeling her shiver underneath the cloak. He pulled the sheets up higher, trying to cover her as much as he could.

"You're safe." He kissed the top of her head.

She rubbed her face into his chest, and for a few moments, they just lay there clutching each other. Neither said anything as they thought about the disaster they had just escaped. After a few moments of silence, Gianna spoke up in a serious voice. "I want out of this."

"I'm getting you home as soon as I can," he said.

"No." She shook her head. "This." She pulled at the cloak, taking it off. Kozien stared at the outfit underneath. He hated the skimpy outfit that was over her body.

"Do you want me to grab you something else?"

Gianna shook her head, and without a thought, stripped the outfit off. Kozien's eyes grew wide, taking in her naked body.

"Here." He pulled at the sheets, trying to cover her, but she pushed them away.

"Just hold me," she whispered, crawling back into his lap. "I just want you to hold me."

He didn't argue with her as he pulled her close once more, not bothered by her naked body. At least, he tried to not let it bother him. He kissed the top of her head and then her forehead. He kissed her eyes, pulling her tightly to him. "You're safe," he said once more, wanting to comfort her.

He kissed her cheeks and then the side of her lip. Gianna looked up at him and grabbed his cheeks before she leaned forward, pressing her lips to his.

It was soft, a reassuring kiss to calm them both. But the air shifted around them, and he pulled her back, sitting up. Gianna's hands traveled around his head, grabbing his neck. The kiss deepened, and suddenly it was like they were gasping for air. Kissing was their oxygen.

"I was so scared," she gasped. "I wanted you."

"I'm here now." He clutched at her hips and pressed them flush to his. He was hard. He knew it was wrong, but he couldn't help his body's response to his mate.

"Don't ever leave me," she whispered. "Ever."

He flipped them, pressing her into the mattress. He looked down at her, seeing the look of despair written so deeply in her eyes. He cupped her cheeks, kissing each of them.

"I won't." He intended to keep that promise, forever.

Gianna pulled at his clothes, and he removed them with her. He threw his outfit on the floor, looking at her as he kissed her, tasting her, and not realizing how much he missed her essence. How much he missed her.

When they had sex before, it was because they were done fighting the desire they had for each other. But this time was different. It was soft and comforting.

He listened as she cried, clutching onto his arms like she would never let go. He kissed every inch of her body, silently promising to erase every trace of Oxxaro. He would do anything to help her forget today.

He was gentle, asking to ensure she wanted him, all of him. She, in turn, said she needed him. And he felt that deep in his soul.

Wrapped up in the sheets, holding each other, they made love. He felt every inch of her, and even when he was deep inside her, his only thought was that she was safe in his arms.

Gianna straddled him, looking deep into his eyes. Kozien cupped her cheek, wiping a few stray tears that broke free. He kissed her chin. "Am I hurting you? We can stop if this hurts." She shook her head. "No." She leaned closer, kissing his nose. "You're healing me, Kozien."

He wiped a few more tears, kissing her softly once more on the lips. She made him feel like everything was going to be okay. He had to hope that was entirely true. He didn't want to let her down again.

He thrust into her, looking deep into her eyes. He watched the lust take over as she allowed her mind to finally wander. He allowed it to shift his own mind.

He gripped her hips, thrusting deeper up into her. Gianna ground down on him, bringing them closer than before.

Kozien growled, "You're amazing."

Clutching onto each other, they came together, and when they finished, he pulled Gianna close to him again. He pulled the sheets over their naked bodies and held her against his chest. Gianna snuggled closer. "We should be planning," she muttered sleepily.

"Tomorrow." He kissed the top of her head. "First, we need to sleep. You need sleep."

He expected her to fight, but she didn't. She fell asleep, and Kozien soon followed.
