Rogue Warriors of Lorr -
Stolen by the Alien Prince Chapter 24
Settling into their home on the mountain had been a dream come true.
Gianna never thought she'd love owning a home, but damn was it nice to wake up in the morning and not have to worry about leaky roofs or ruffians outside of her apartment pandering for loose coins in passersby's pockets.
In all the years she'd spent on Noxxa, she'd never thought she could feel safe and secure on the planet. She'd come to terms, over the years, that there was always going to be an underlying threat of danger no matter where she went.
But lo and behold, Kozien had surprised her yet again and challenged her view on this very planet in the same way she'd challenged his view when they'd been trying to rescue her brother.
She'd been so happy waking up in his arms and rising to watch the sun come up over the horizon, bathing the entire skyline and the sea in beautiful hues of golds and reds.
She watched Gabe's boat trawl along the coast, their nets down and their crew scrambling around on deck while they pulled in whatever edible aquatic life was out there. She hadn't ventured into checking out the seafood yet, but she was sure tonight that would change.
Her brother had informed her only a few short days ago that he was coming to her house for dinner and bringing a friend with him.
He'd emphasized that word more than a few times, which led her to believe this person wasn't just any old friend he'd met while working. By the sounds of it, she might as well put out her best porcelain.
The thought made her laugh to herself. Who knew her brother could become so squirrely when faced with the hard-hitting questions of "Do we like this person?" "Is this person a friend-friend or a friend-friend?" "Gianna?" She turned and spied her mate standing in the entryway of their kitchen. "Everything all right?"
"Hm? Oh, yes. Just laughing to myself. Would you mind getting the nice dinner plate set out of the cabinet and setting the table? Food is almost done."
Kozien tilted his head. "I thought we were waiting for Gabe to arrive with food?"
"He told me it doesn't take that long to cook, apparently. So, I'm starting all of this early."
Kozien nodded, leaning back from the entryway. "I'll grab the plates."
"Thank you!"
Turning back to her stove, Gianna turned the burner down and let the stock boil inside of the pot. She hoped whatever her brother was bringing her could be thrown into the stock without needing much prep time. Gianna had never been a stellar cook, but the few recipes she did know, she had down like the back of her hand.
All right, that should be good enough for now.
"Gia!" her brother called her from the living room.
"In here!"
She listened to the sound of his footsteps coming through the living room. She looked over and smiled when he popped his head around the corner.
"Got those shellfish for you."
"Can they be boiled?"
"Yeah, I think so. Sililia told me they taste best with some kind of broth."
Sililia, huh...
"Oh, well I just put a pot of stock on. Does that work?"
He walked over to her, a plastic bag clutched in his hand. He looked into the pot and shrugged. "We can try it. I'll have Sililia be the judge."
She smiled, taking the lid off. "Perfect."
Gabe set the bag down on the counter next to the stove, pulling out large crustacean-like creatures that were a mix between a lobster and a shrimp. He dropped all four of them into the pot of boiling stock before grabbing the lid and replacing it over the top. Gianna winced when she heard tiny screams.
"That's... foreboding."
"Yeah, Sililia told me they do that sometimes when you cook them."
"They were still alive. Weren't they?"
Gabe gave her a look. "Well, yeah. I got them fresh off the boat this morning."
She couldn't help but snort. Of course, he would act like she was the stupid one in this situation. Never mind the fact that he brought live animals into her home and just boiled them alive without telling her.
Gabe patted her shoulder, stealing her away from her thoughts. "Want to meet Sililia?"
Gianna narrowed her eyes. "It depends. Am I meeting your friend or your girlfriend?"
Gabe rolled his eyes. "Does it matter?"
"Well, I'm sure she's stuck in the living room with Kozien cross-examining her and giving her the third degree. So, my help getting him to back off will depend on how serious this relationship is."
She batted her eyes innocently at him, holding back a laugh when his mouth dropped open.
Gabe quickly turned and headed out of the kitchen. "Kozien!"
Leaning back in his chair, Kozien pushed his plate back and exhaled slowly.
The food had been wonderful, cooked perfectly in a savory sauce that he couldn't exactly place, but knew he'd had it somewhere before. Gianna had more than outdone herself, and Kozien only wished they didn't have guests so he could show her just how much he appreciated her. "Thank you for the meal, Gianna." Sililia, Gabe's new girlfriend, gently patted her mouth.
Apparently, they'd met while working on the boat together, fishing with their crew. They'd slowly struck up a friendship followed by a very intense flirtation cycle-according to Gabe-and now here they were, a few weeks into being official.
Kozien struggled to hold back a laugh each time Gabe caught Sililia staring at him while they all ate. It was the typical sign of a Noxxa falling head over heels for their partner. The long glances, the subtle brush of touches when no one was watching, even the sharing of food.
It was all so obvious but Gabe was completely oblivious, making Kozien wonder if he'd been the same way. He'd looked at Gianna the same and acted the same way as Sililia was doing now, and she hadn't noticed.
Were all humans like that? Oblivious?
Gianna smiled. "Of course. I'm glad I made it right."
Kozien reached across the table to take her hand. "You did excellent."
She blushed at his words, squeezing his hand gently in hers.
"Kozien." Sililia turned to him, placing her hands demurely on top of the table. "Gabe told me you're a prince?"
He hummed. "I used to be. I gave up my rights to the throne and title to be mated."
Sililia blinked slowly at him, tilting her head.
Her long white hair cascaded over her shoulder while her pale lavender-colored eyes stared directly at him unflinchingly. He had to give her respect for not being intimidated by being in his presence. Typically, Noxxa were afraid of the Lorr warriors, but she seemed different. Gianna squeezed his hand again. "Kozien helped me a lot when trying to find my brother."
Sililia nodded, focusing her intense gaze on his mate. "Yes, he did say as much. I'm happy you were both reunited."
Gianna smiled. "We're happy, too."
Once dinner concluded, and both Gabe and Sililia were escorted out for the night, Kozien wrapped his arms around Gianna and pulled her back into his chest. He buried his face in her neck, breathing in her sultry scent.
She tilted her neck, laughing softly while he swayed his hips along with hers. He loved the feeling of her pressed against him. Every single curve of her body fit perfectly against his as if she'd been made for him in every sense, and he had been lucky enough to find her.
"Do you think you'll ever miss it? Being a prince."
Kozien smiled against her skin. He knew Sililia's question earlier would plant a seed in his mate's mind. She was always so concerned about his well-being that it warmed his heart. She took care of him just as much as he took care of her.
"I will never miss it," he murmured against her skin.
She craned her neck back to look at him. "Really? Are you sure?"
He kissed along her jaw. "I'm positive. Nothing in this entire universe will get me to change my mind about choosing you over my family title."
"You're sure?"
"Nothing will change my mind, Gianna. Nothing."
She sighed softly, letting him pepper kisses all over her skin. She allowed him to lead her backward, heading through the living room into their bedroom. She let out a soft laugh when he laid her down on top of the mattress. Gianna crooked her finger at him. "Come here."
Obeying her-of course he did-he crawled on top of her and gently pulled her up against him. Her heat soaked into his as they lay together, caressing each other while tangling their legs together.
"I love you, Kozien."
He smiled, running his knuckles over her cheekbone and taking in her beauty. "May I ask you something, Gianna?"
"Anything."
He placed a kiss along her forehead and down to her nose. "Will you create a family with me?"
Her eyes softened. "Really?"
He nodded. "I want to grow a family with you. In our house, on this island, enjoying each other while we grow older together and our children grow. Your brother will be around to help us when the kids get to be too much, and I want you all to myself." She laughed softly. "I want that, too."
"Will you do me the honor of bearing my children, Gianna? Our beautiful and bold children who I hope will grow up to be just like you?"
She ran her hand up the back of his neck, cupping his head and pulling him down into a soft kiss.
"I would love nothing more than to be the mother of your children, Kozien. I thought you'd never ask."
He chuckled. "I love you endlessly, Gianna."
She smiled against his lips, running her hands through his hair. "Make love to me, Kozien. And let's get this ball rolling."
He laughed and rolled on top of her, kissing her deeply. She moaned under him, her hands coming up to find the seam of his shirt and pulling it up to his chest. Kozien moved away from her lips, letting her strip his shirt off of him and tossing it away onto the floor somewhere.
"My mate is eager," he teased.
She fluttered her long lashes at him. He really was weak for her. It was amazing that he ever got anything done with her running around batting her eyes up at him like that.
He made quick work of their clothes, tossing them onto the floor along with everything else that seemed to get in their way. His lips found hers again, kissing her while he sank deep into her heat and rolled his hips in a slow pace that had them both moaning. He couldn't help but want to worship every piece of her. His hands roamed to touch her in any way they could while she breathlessly repeated his name over and over again.
He made love to her in all the right ways. Slowly and sensually. He wanted this baby conceived out of love and devotion, not some quick fuck that they had when they felt feral and their desire was overwhelming them both.
Kozien pressed kisses to every inch of her mouth and neck, leaving small trails of marks behind as he went. He loved going into town with her and having people glance over at her marks, knowing exactly who she belonged to the moment they laid eyes on her. It made him feel the kind of desire for her that he'd only read about-the fantasy of wanting someone so badly that he could barely breathe.
But it was all real, and it was all his for the taking.
Gianna shuddered underneath him, her orgasm making her come undone while she called out to him.
He slid in and out of her, stealing more orgasms from her until her body was shaking against him. He pressed his forehead against hers, letting his own climax roll over him as he emptied himself inside of her completely.
"I want your baby," Gianna moaned, hanging on to him for dear life.
He pressed a kiss to her temple. "And you shall have it, my mate."
