Salute To The General -
Chapter 3281 The Killer Move Of Parkhurst
The dagger in Parkhurst's hand transformed into a cold glint, aiming straight at Nathan's chest before he got near to the latter. In response, Nathan raised his hand. Parkhurst was about to sneer, thinking Nathan would block his attack with bare hands. However, the man suddenly noticed something was amiss. The light of a blade flashed across Nathan's sleeve.
Snowsphere!
Parkhurst's pupils dilated rapidly when he realized what was happening.
Clang!
A loud thunder-like sound reverberated, stunning the entire venue. Nathan's Snowsphere and Parkhurst's adamantine dagger collided with each other forcefully.
The moment the two weapons knocked into each other, a powerful wave of energy rippled through the air, spreading outwards. The next second, Parkhurst was jolted backwards at lightning speed. Meanwhile, Nathan moved agilely and landed himself on the ground effortlessly.
As for Parkhurst, the moment he retreated backwards, he readied himself for battle as his body became more muscular, and his face aged quickly into a ferocious state. Moreover, a pair of enormous red skeletal wings also grew from his back. Parkhurst flapped his wings fiercely in the air before slowly descending onto the ground. Parkhurst stared at Nathan intently. "You truly deserve the title of the strongest God of War of the human species. No wonder Patriarch Herod warned me about you because your capabilities truly are out of the world."
He continued, "Not even Leopold could force me to reveal my battle form even after we fought for so long. And you, you forced me to show my battle form with just one move! You're a worthy opponent that fills me with excitement!"
At this moment, Parkhurst had already sensed Nathan's formidable capabilities. However, being extremely competitive by nature, he wasn't fearful. Instead, it invoked a sense of fighting spirit in him.
If I can kill Nathan, I will secure the position of the chief prince among the twelve vampire princes.
Just then, the fight on the battlefield gradually came to a halt. Whether they were humans or vampires, every living being focused on Nathan and Parkhurst. Nathan looked at Parkhurst indifferently. "If I were you, I would escape now and find a remote hiding place. There I will spend the rest of my life obediently without causing any trouble to the society." Parkhurst sneered.
"It's a pity you're not me. Not only will I not run away, but I will also kill you and establish my reputation in the process." The moment he finished speaking, Parkhurst launched another attack at Nathan, his speed reaching its peak. He arrived before Nathan in a flash, slashing his sharp blade against Nathan's throat. Nathan leaned back slightly, dodging Parkhurst's blade. Then, he swiftly thrust his weapon at Parkhurst's armpit.
Parkhurst reacted quickly as he drew back his blade and blocked Nathan's Snowsphere. And so, these two kept rotating around in a flash while their weapons clashed, producing crisp, resonating sounds. The vampires and the humans at the scene couldn't keep up with Parkhurst and Nathan's constantly-moving figures. All they saw were two flickering shadows that appeared and disappeared while the noise of the clashing weapons went on. The vampire elites and the Remdikians' naval commanders, including Rogan, stared at the intense fight dumbfoundedly. They were shocked by the powerful nature of Nathan and Parkhurst's capabilities. Even Leopold, who was wounded grievously, had conflicted emotions. With his eyes glued to the fight, Leopold knew Parkhurst had deliberately toyed with him earlier and that if Parkhurst hadn't decided to play with him before ending him, he would have been dead now. Furthermore, Leopold also realized that Nathan had been merciful to him when they had a friendly match back at the combat ground in Remdik. I wouldn't be able to fight on for long if Nathan had unleashed his full potential back then.
At that moment, Leopold's expression was particularly serious as he muttered, "We humans are fortunate to have such a powerful person like Mr. Chen among us!"
Meanwhile, Parkhurst noticed that Nathan's capabilities were stronger than he expected. He panicked, for Nathan could stand his ground no matter how rapidly he attacked the latter.
"Mirror Clone!" Parkhurst shouted, his body splitting into two, then doubling again into four mirror images. Each of his images held a sharp blade, simultaneously charging toward Nathan with murderous intent. Leopold's expression turned grim.
He whispered, "It's that move again. This is the very move that this guy used to defeat me." At this moment, he was both worried for Nathan and secretly looking forward to seeing whether Nathan could hold up against Parkhurst's killer move.
