Chapter 3346 Nathan Issues A Challenge

The rest of the King-Class vampires appeared similar grim.

As formidable as Kieran and Max were, all they managed to accomplish against Nathan was to take a beating. We're probably asking for trouble if we make another move.

For a moment, nobody dared stop Nathan.

At a steady pace, Nathan crossed the courtyard and arrived at the palace entrance. He strode in with ease.

It looked as if he owned the place.

The vast palace hall was lavishly decorated.

Atop the throne sat a slender man who appeared to be in his forties. He was a handsome, middle-aged gentleman.

Nathan locked eyes with the figure above.

The clash of their gazes seemed to emit sparks.

Suddenly, a buzz sounded in his head. Feeling as though he was shackled from head to foot by some unseen force, he was left momentarily incapacitated. Then, Herod revealed a smug smile.

His mental strength was immensely powerful. He launched a mental attack on Nathan when the latter walked through the doors and met his gaze.

At that moment, Nathan appeared to be overpowered by the immense, invisible power, losing his ability to act.

He gave a triumphant cackle. "Kneel before me!"

To Nathan's surprise, his body subconsciously obeyed Herod's command. Outside of his control, he began to kneel before Herod on the throne. When his knees were about to touch the floor, Nathan let loose a burst of rage. His indomitable will broke free from Herod's mental control in an instant. With a bang, the invisible, mental shackles were shattered to pieces.

Nathan regained control of his body.

He stood tall and upright. Coldly, he addressed Herod seated on the throne, "You're not worthy of having me kneel."

Herod's triumphant smile froze in an instant.

He stared at Nathan in disbelief. Just moments ago, Nathan had been overpowered by his formidable spirit and was clearly under his mental control. He could not comprehend how his captive had managed to break free. His expression darkened as he glared at Nathan. "I didn't expect your mental fortitude to be that strong. What a surprise."

Nathan chuckled. "There's still plenty more of surprises left for you."

Then, he declared in a sonorous voice, "In the name of fresh blood, with darkness as my witness, I formally challenge you, Herod, to a duel..." What?

Upon hearing Nathan's proclamation, Herod reacted like a tiger whose tail had been stepped on-with shock and fury, he leaped up from his throne.

"How did you find out about this

Oath of Challenge?" he demanded shocked and livid. "Besides,

vampires can issue this chane.

Could you already be..."

Herod became stunned by his own revelation.

Nathan was actually a vampire, who even dared to challenge Herod, the ruler of the vampires, in his new identity.

It was common knowledge that there can only be one king to rule over the vampires.
