Meryl stepped out of Felix's arms.

She had expected Chandler to explode with rage at the scene.

Felix said, "Why should you leave just because he says so? Can't you see we're on a date?"

He gently rested his hand on her shoulder and gave her a look full of mock tenderness. His gaze on her seemed to escalate the tension deliberately.

"Let the baby take my family name," he added casually, "I'd love to be your child's father."

The words were like a bomb detonating in the air. Chandler's face turned thunderous.

Without hesitation, he stormed forward and threw a punch at Felix's face.
