Shackled (The Lord Series) by Carlos
238. Olivia - Azael I

Jason drives around for hours while telling me how he'll punish me when we get home. I'm counting on that because I'm trying to devise a plan that will end with both Jason and my father dead. First, I need to get Mose out from wherever my father took him. And for that, I need to play my cards very carefully. Leo keeps his hand on my thigh, but so far, he hasn't forced me to suck him. Good, because I would have bitten his dick off. I'm tired of men forcing me to fuck them. But until my father and brother are dead, I have to play by the rules. That means riding and sucking cocks while being high as fuck. I just have to be careful not to lose myself in the process, as I did before. Back then, I didn't really have a choice, but I'm no longer that Olivia. If I learned something all this time is to wait for the right moment to strike.

Levi is dead.

His death will be avenged. And the others as well. I'll make sure of it.

Tyson and Jasper don't want to see me anymore. It's better this way. There is nothing to be said between us anyway. Seeing me will only remind them that I'm the cause of their friends getting killed. Because I hid the daggers from my father. I don't regret doing so, I only regret involving others in my shit.

The drugs given to me were not strong enough to numb me, but they were enough to quiet the voice in my head so I could calm down and think of my next steps. Before I was reckless and only wanted to mourn what I lost, which led to years of suffering, but this time, I won't let my brother cage me again. I'll kill him before he does that to me. This time, I have to be strong and hide my pain deep inside my heart.

Rueben and the others don't want me at the farm anymore. Jason is right; I'm disposable, but I already knew that I'd never have a happy ending. It's a good thing I didn't take the daggers with me. With a bit of luck, Ansel will figure out how to use them. Maybe he can use them to take down Carlos or my father in case I fail.

It is past midday when Jason gets out of the city and drives to the desert. My heart starts to beat faster. He wouldn't!

Much to my surprise and anger, an hour later, he parks the car near the medical facility.

My stomach drops. I thought he would take me to our father, but trust Jason to do just one thing right in his life. He has a way to fuck up things at the last moment.

"Come on, Azael is waiting for you," Jason tells me as he gets out of the car.

Shit.

Shit.

Jason never acts out of character, and this is definitely not normal. But taking me to Azael? This is a low blow even for him.

I open the door. "I thought you'd take me home. Please, I'll be really good," I plead with Jason.

My brother pinches the bridge of his nose before barking at me, "Don't make me drag you by your hair."

Not wanting to cause a scene right here, I get out of the car and follow my brother. Sean and Leo walk behind me. What do they think that I'm going to do? Run? I won't get too far since my toes hurt and I lost one of my slippers when I rushed out of the farm.

The guards recognize my brother and we are let inside without being questioned by anyone. I guess being the son of the great Senator Deymar has its perks. One of them is always getting away with crimes.

The facility is almost the same as it was six years ago when I was first brought here. It still reeks of hate and fear. In the beginning, I thought it was the experiments that feared the doctors, but it is only now that I realize that it is the other way around. Interesting. Maybe I can use this to my advantage. In the end, when Carlos had me fuck experiments, I always made sure to treat them with kindness. I am sure more than one will remember me. And even help me if need be. Jason takes me directly to Azael's office. I let my brother deal with bureaucracy while I try to memorize things about this place, like how many steps from the stairs until we reach the office or how many Dukes guard it. Four. Some details might seem useless, but I'm sure they will come in handy later on.

"You may enter," one of the guards says as he holds the door open for us.

I hadn't had the *pleasure* of meeting Azael before, but the thought of meeting the angel who betrayed Lucifer doesn't make me nervous. I'm just curious to know what kind of person he is. Everything I heard about him portrays him as the ultimate monster, but I bet things are way worse.

Once inside, the door closes and locks behind us.

Sean and Leo look around the office nervously while I focus on the man dressed all in white sitting behind a modern desk. His face is a blur, and I blink several times until I realize he must be using technology to keep his identity hidden. Smart to do so. At least his wings are visible. They are white as the snow and twisted at some strange angles, making me wonder if someone tried to rip them off his back. Too bad they didn't chop off his head. Then I wouldn't be here but on my way to see save Mose.

"We have her," Jason tells Azael.
