"This soup will help you sober up." Julien answered.

Sydney frowned, "Why does it look so dark and the smell..."

Sydney then handed him the bowl.

Julien took the bowl and went to the kitchen.

"Yes, you're right." Natalie nodded her head. Then she said with righteous indignation, "I blame your damn ex-husband. How could he hurt you to the extent that you were afraid of getting into a relationship." The corner of Sydney's mouth twitched. She didn't say anything.
