Sir, Madam Dispeared Again After Divorce!
Chapter 680 Zach Came to Apologized to Julien

Sydney's voice was husky and soft, and she sounded sleepy. She did not open her eyes. Apparently, she was not fully awake.

Her eyes were closed, but she asked Julien for the time. Therefore, she was aware that she was sleeping next to him.

Otherwise, she would not be so calm now. She would have jumped up and asked why Julien was here.

"It's ten o'clock." Julien glanced at his watch and replied.

Sydney's eyes snapped open, "What? It's ten o'clock?" Her voice rose. Clearly, she was startled.

Julien nodded slightly, "Yes, it's ten o'clock.

Sydney sat up in a hurry, "Oh my God! I'm late! I have a meeting to attend this morning."

She scratched her messy hair and tried to get out of bed.

Julien suddenly grabbed her waist from behind and pulled her back into his arms.

Sydney tried to remove Julien's arms," Julien, what are you doing? Let go of me! I have to go wash up!"

"Don't worry." Julien laughed lightly, "Your secretary called earlier. She should be asking why you were not in the office.

When she learned that you were at my place, she hung up the phone. She didn't ask me to wake you up or tell you to go to the office. I don't think the meeting is very important, so you don't need to be in such a hurry. Let's have breakfast together, and then you go to the office."

"But..." Sydney knew the meeting wasn't important, but she was always punctual.

Seeing Sydney's frown, Julien knew what she was worrying about. He reached out his hand and smoothed her eyebrows. "I see what you're worried about. It's OK to miss a meeting sometimes. It can make the staff respect you more because you're the boss and you have the right to be late."

Hearing Julien's words, Sydney calmed down. The anxiety in her heart dissipated.

Sydney nodded her head, "Okay! I'll go to the office after breakfast."

Julien was the CEO and chairman of Flint Corporation. He knew how to run a company, and he wouldn't lie to her.

And Sydney knew very well that her absence would not cost the company anything.

Therefore, since she was late, she wouldn't rush to the meeting.

"But even if I don't need to hurry to the office, it's time for me to get up. Aren't you hungry?"

Sydney asked the man behind her, who was holding her in his arms.

The man had his head down and was playing with her hand.

Her hands were so tiny and soft that he adored them.

"Not particularly, but I'll get up." Then Julien let go of Sydney's hand.

Seeing the reluctance in Julien's eyes when he let go of her hand, Sydney was amused.

'Why does he like to play with my hand? Is it so funny?'

Sydney flipped her hand and surveyed it.

She had no extra fingers. She didn't understand what was so funny about her hands and why Julien liked them so much.

Sydney dropped the idea. She got out of bed and headed for the bathroom.

Julien followed her behind. He wanted to wash up with her together.

They had pretty much washed up together last night, so Sydney didn't kick him out.

Besides, this was his home, and she was a guest.

As a guest, how could she kick out the host?

After they finished washing up, Julien went to change, and Sydney went to get her clothes.

Her clothes were dried after the wash, so she could just put them on.

When Julien came out of his room, Sydney had changed too. She was sitting on the couch in the living room and lining her eyebrows with a mirror in her hand.

"What do you want for breakfast?" Sydney looked at Julien from the corner of her eye and asked.

Julien walked towards her. His eyes fell on her clothes. "Shall we go to the restaurant later?"

Sydney put down the mirror in her hand," Sure."

"Let's go to have dumplings. I know you love it." Julien said as he straightened his tie.

She was wearing yesterday's clothes.

Julien wanted Zach to bring Sydney a new outfit, but she refused. She didn't want to waste time waiting for it. Suddenly, an idea came to Julien's mind. He thought he could prepare some clothes for Sydney at his home. The thought of having Sydney's clothes in his closet thrilled Julien's heart.

He swallowed his excitement. Seeing Sydney picking up her handbag, he said in a husky voice, "Let's go."

"What's wrong with your voice?" Sydney asked with concern as she carried her handbag on her shoulder, "Has your voice not recovered from the alcohol yesterday?" 'But when Julien got up, he sounded fine.' Sydney was confused.

Julien lowered his eyes, "No. I was just a little thirsty."

He wouldn't tell her that imagining their clothes in the same closet excited him. She would laugh at him.

As Julien said so, Sydney didn't doubt him.

He hadn't had a drink of water since they got up.

Sydney poured a glass of water and handed it to Julien. "Drink some water to moisten your throat."

Julien took the glass and took a sip.

Although he didn't feel thirsty, he had to drink it. Otherwise, Sydney would find out that he was lying to her.

After Julien finished drinking the water, they walked towards the door.

Just as they reached the door, the doorbell rang.

Julien turned on the visual doorbell and found it was Zach.

Zach was pacing back and forth, his hands twisted together. Every now and then he took a deep breath. He looked quite nervous. Sydney raised her eyebrows. "Zach's supposed to be here to apologize to you."

"Apologize to me?" Julien paused.

Sydney tucked her hair behind her ear and explained, "Yeah. I forgot to tell you what happened. Zach was here yesterday after you got drunk. Grandma called me and asked how you were doing. Then Grandma wanted to talk to Zach. I don't know what Zach said to Grandma, but she passed out when talking to him." "Grandma passed out?" Julien's pupils flinched. His face immediately tightened. Sydney took his hand, "Don't worry.

Grandma is fine. Grandma was just so worried about you that she fainted. I was going to tell you when you woke up, but 1 was busy taking care of you, so 1 forgot about it. Seeing Zach reminded me of it." After hearing Sydney's explanation, Julien eased up.

'Thank God! Grandma is fine. Otherwise...'

A somber look appeared in Julien's eyes. Then he gripped the door handle and pulled the door open.

Seeing the door open, Zach immediately straightened his back and greeted, "Mr. Flint!"

Julien stared at him with a grim stare. He didn't say a word.

Seeing the look on Julien's face, Zach tensed up.

He guessed that Julien had learned that his grandmother had fainted.

Zach wasn't surprised that Julien knew about it. Even if Sydney didn't tell Julien, Zach would tell him himself.

He had come early in the morning to apologize to Julien.

Zach took a breath and bowed toward Julien, "I'm sorry, Mr. Flint. About the Old Madam, it's all my fault. I apologize to you. I am willing to accept any punishment"
