Sir, Madam Dispeared Again After Divorce! -
Chapter 690 Madeline Would Get Back at Sean
Therefore, it was a pure coincidence that Sydney's kidney could be matched to Brandon's.
But the coincidence was disgusting.
Sydney rubbed her temples. She stopped thinking about it, picked up a broom and started cleaning the floor.
On the other side, Madeline was thrown back into her office by the security guards. She was so furious.
Sydney slapped Madeline's face. And then Sean had the security guards take Madeline around the floor so that all the employees saw Madeline's reddened and swollen face. She was so humiliated. After being thrown into the office, Madeline clenched her fists and screamed in rage, "Sean, I won't let you go! Even if you have Sydney, I will get back to you sooner or later."
Sean had walked to the door with the security guards. Hearing Madeline's scream, Sean stopped. She turned her head and looked at the mad Madeline with a faint smile, "Will you? I'll wait and see." Sean wasn't threatened by Madeline.
Even if Sydney wasn't on Sean's side, with Madeline's intelligence, Sean wasn't afraid of her.
Seeing the contemptuous smile on Sean's face, Madeline was infuriated.
'How dare she offend me?'
'How dare she take my threat as a joke? She's gone too far!'
"You... You..." Madeline's face turned red. Her fingers trembled as she pointed at Sean.
She was so angry that she couldn't speak.
Sean pushed her glasses upwards and turned to leave.
'I'd better go. Madeline might pass out in anger.'
"Let's go." Sean said to the security guards. Then she walked out of Madeline's office.
The guards followed her and closed the door behind them.
Only Madeline was left in the office. She screamed hysterically and stomped her feet.
Her scream was so loud that all the employees on this floor could hear it.
Someone poked their head out the door and looked in the direction of Madeline's office.
"What's going on there?" The employees wondered what was going on.
One employee curled his lips and guessed, "What else could it be? She must have been humiliated by Ms. Raines, so now she's throwing a tantrum in her office." "Her screaming sounds horrible."
"Her screaming is okay. It's her contorted face that's scary! She looks like a demon, so frightening."
"Wow! I can imagine that. It's so funny."
Immediately, the employees burst out laughing. They didn't feel guilty making fun of their boss behind her back.
None of them liked Madeline.
They weren't Madeline's secretaries or assistants, but Madeline often assigned them work. If their work did not meet her requirements, she would lash out at them. They resented Madeline for a long time.
They were happy to learn that Madeline was humiliated by Sydney.
Madeline didn't know that she had become a disgusting monster to the employees. She smashed everything in her office. Even the chairs were kicked out of place by her. After venting out her anger for a while, she finally calmed down and sat on the couch, panting hard.
She had never been so humiliated.
Sydney had humiliated Madeline so many times since Madeline had returned to Mediana.
Madeline had made up her mind not to let Sydney go!
Since she couldn't get the shares of Skylight from Sydney, she was determined to ruin Sydney's reputation and let everyone know that Sydney was a bastard!
Thinking about this, Madeline raised her reddened eyes and put a vicious smile on her face. She picked up her cell phone and dialed a number. "It's me, Madeline. I have wonderful news." Soon, it was afternoon.
Sydney was busy working. Suddenly, her phone rang.
She put down her pen, picked up the phone, and looked at it. It was Julien.
Sydney smiled. Her head felt dizzy from work. Immediately, her head eased up.
She leaned back in her chair and picked up the phone, "Hello?"
"Have you finished your work?" Julien's charming voice rang out through the line.
Sydney was enchanted to hear his voice. She subconsciously sat up straight and answered, "Almost. Are you here?"
"I'm downstairs." Julien rolled down the car window and looked up at the balcony of Sydney's office.
Sydney immediately got up. "Wait a minute. Let me see."
Then she walked quickly to the balcony and looked down. Sure enough, Julien's car was downstairs.
As Sydney's office was on such a high floor, she could not see Julien. She waved at his car.
Julien smiled, "I see you."
"OK. Wait for me. I'll be right down." Sydney said as she put her hand down.
Julien nodded, "Take your time. I won't go anywhere. Whenever you come down, I will be right here waiting for you." Sydney's heart flipped at Julien's words. She blushed. "Shut up! Where did you learn those lines?"
"What?" Julien shook his head, "Do I need to learn it?"
'It just came on my tongue.'
Sydney had a wry smile, "All right. You didn't learn it. You are a born sweet talker. I'm going to go pack my stuff. See you later." "OK," Julien smiled.
Hanging up the phone, Sydney smiled at the Phantom parked downstairs. Then she turned around and went back to her office.
Seeing Sydney go inside, Julien rolled up the window so people couldn't see him.
Sydney walked to her desk, put all the papers in the drawer, and turned off her computer. Then she took out the bracelet, put it in her handbag, and headed out. Soon, Sydney arrived at Julien's car.
Just as Sydney lifted her hand and was about to knock on the window, the car door suddenly opened from the inside.
Sydney took a step back.
Julien got out of the car. Seeing that Sydney's hair was a bit messy, he tucked it behind her ear. His movements were very gentle. "Did you run?"
"How can you know that?" Sydney's eyes widened in surprise.
After she got out of her office, she trotted all the way to the elevator.
After exiting the elevator, she trotted to the front door.
On her way, she met a manager. The manager teased, "Ms. Raines, why are you in such a hurry? Are you going on a date with Mr. Flint?"
She immediately realized that even if she was going to see Julien, she didn't have to be in such a hurry.
Otherwise, people would think she couldn't wait to see Julien, so she slowed down and walked to Julien's car.
She was surprised that Julien could see she had run.
'How did he know?'
Sensing what Sydney was thinking, Julien chuckled, "Because your hair was messy."
