We finally get to the church and Derek leans over to open the door but he gets pulled out and screams

Me: Derek!!!

I transform and get out of the van with the Katana in my hands. I run towards Derek who gets demolished by a fawn warrior. I pull the Katana from its holster and strike the fawn warrior, who retreats in surprise.

Me: Run Derek!

He gets up and with difficulty runs further. I fight against the bone monster and manage to stop every one of his blows with the Katana. I kick his leg and he limps backwards.

Me: Wow, I want one too…

The beast comes back and pushes me, making me lose my balance and the Katana flies further away.

• Stay down !

Breaden . She shoots at the tawny warrior who retreats with each blow and I take the opportunity to pick up the weapon and run to join the others.

Stiles: Are you all right?

Peter: We don’t have time for this. Hannah and Stiles, go and get Scott and Kira, we’ll take care of holding off the fawn warriors! Hurry up!

We all nod and Stiles and I go into a corridor.

Me: Is it just me or is Peter particularly keen to find them?

Stiles: Yeah, that’s suspicious.

At least I’m not the only one who thinks so.

• Hananh?

I turn around pointing the Katana but it’s…

Me: Kira! Are you alright ?

Kira: I’m fine… Scott… Kate’s turning her into…

I’m having flashes again. Kate puts a tawny warrior mask on Scott’s head and then he attacks Kira and seriously injures her. Then lots of images flash before my eyes

Me: As a tawny warrior

Stiles: Have you seen her?

I nod

Me: And that’s not the worst of it… We need to get back to the others as soon as possible.

I give the katana back to Kira and we run back to the others. Allison was going to shoot an arrow at Scott

Me: NO, DON’T DO THAT!

Kira throws her katana at the crossbow, which falls from Allison’s hands and she looks at us confused.

Allison: What are you doing? We were going to kill him.

Me : That’s Scott under the mask ! Look at his eyes!

She slowly leans towards the beast and brings her hands to her mouth. Scott manages to get away from Liam and Peter who were holding him and punches Allison who flies further away. We run towards Scott and he grabs me by the neck and I’m stuck against a wall so quickly that I can’t do anything.

Me: Scott stop! Don’t do that … You’re not a wildcat warrior. You’re a real Alfa… And you’re my brother! Resist!

He blinks and puts me down. I cough and look at him. He removes the bones from his arms and torso then pulls on his mask which shatters in a burst of golden light. He turns into a werewolf and stares at Peter.

Scott: It was you… the only one who knew more than Argents about the fawn warriors and the Nawal. You’ve been his ally from the start. All this for power.

Peter: My family’s. Power that was meant for me and usurped by a pimply teenager. You are not worthy of such power.

He transformed in turn. I was going to attack him but Allison stopped me.

Allison: He has to do it himself. He has to show Peter who Alfa is.

I nod and watch the action. Peter jumps on Scott and they fight. Peter is really strong compared to Scott but he manages to protect himself a bit. Peter gives Scott a big blow and he falls to the ground. Scott needs help but I don’t have to go and fight him or he’ll never make it.

Me: SCOTT GET UP AND GET DOWN! YOU CAN DO IT! I BELIEVE IN YOU!

Scott stands up and looks at Peter with determination in his eyes and I smile. He’s going to make it. Peter throws a few punches but Scott dodges them with ease. Scott throws a big punch at Peter who flies to the other side of the room. Scott jumps and lands right next to Peter.

Scott: You were never an alfa Peter. But you were always a monster.

He punches him in the face and makes him faint. I smile and run into his arms.

Me: You’ve done it! You’re the strongest big brother!

He smiles and holds me close. I missed him so much. We stand there and don’t move, but we hear gunshots and Kate screaming.

Me: We had to go and help them

We all nod and run outside to join the others, but the battle’s over and I think of something else.

Me: Derek?!!? Where are you?

• He’s here.

I turn around and he’s in great shape. Scott told me a few days ago that he’s completely lost his powers like hearing, claws and the ability to heal faster.

Me: How’d you do it?

Derek: It’d be pretty hard to explain, but I got my powers back. Thanks for helping me. I would’ve died without you.

I smile at him.

Me: No problem.

He smiles at me and I hold him close. At first he’s surprised, but then he puts his hands on my back. He also saved my life at the very beginning, so it’s only natural that I should save his too. We take off and I go back to my boyfriend’s side and take his hand, smiling.

Me: It’s over. It’s all over.

Stiles: Yes!

We k**s gently and he pulls me close. Scott leaves to talk to Derek and Allison goes to meet her dad. We sit on the rocks and hold hands naturally.

Me: What are we gonna do in Beaconhills now that it’s all over?

Stiles: Enjoy our vacation, which starts in two weeks?

Right. Vacation. I guess I’m one of those rare people who actually forgets about holidays.

Stiles: Don’t tell me you’ve forgotten!

I laugh

Me: I wouldn’t say so!

He laughs back and we hug. I watch Scott and Kira hugging and I think of something

Me: Do you think you and I could go on a date?

Stiles: Hopefully it doesn’t turn into a disaster like what happened to them.

I laugh.

Me: Right.

He’s smiling and we’re going to see the others.

Allison: Hannah, I need to talk to you.

Me: Okay, come on.

We’ll get away from the others.

Allison: I… I have to go with my dad. He’s made a deal with the Calaveras to help us, and in exchange, I have to go with him to find Kate…

Images pass before my eyes again but it’s different than usual. I’m seeing my memories. Every time she was there for me, comforting me, laughing together with Lydia, the time she taught me how to fight, my arrival and how lovely she was to me. I have tears in my eyes when I think she’s going to leave.

Me: I hope you’ll come back!

Allison: I’d do anything for that!

I smile and we hold each other. It’s cuddle day today, we’d say! We let go and join the others, and I see Derek leave. I turn to my brother

Me: Where’s he going?

Scott: He’s leaving… He’s got to get back to his sister

Scott grabs me around the waist and pulls me close to him and I rest my head on his shoulder. It must be hard for him, Derek was there for him from the beginning and taught him everything. We get back in the truck after we’ve all said goodbye to Allison and I put my head on my brother’s shoulder and start to fall asleep.

Scott: Are you OK using me as a pillow?

Me: All you had to do was stay out of Mexico and I’d have used a real McCall pillow!

He laughs and I smile before falling asleep. We’ve got a long way to go…
