Sour Souls Chapter 49

After I healed the man on the ground, who I came to know is Luca, I teleported he and Uma to the Olive. Olive went to work right away on Luca. Although, he no longer has injuries.

Kee came back with me to help teleport the rest of the Banchee's to the school. I ordered Uncle Soren to teleport my mate to our home, and put her in our bed. After that he came to join us in helping the Banchee's. Although, none of them wanted him around. Uncle Soren ended up giving a half a*s apology, and then leaving completely. F*****g figures that he couldn't be bothered to help more. Or give a real apology. Tia was quick to apologize on his behalf though. A real one. I think that it made the Banchee's feel a bit better about being here with us.

When I left, Tia was telling them all that she arranged for one of the houses on the property for them. I had no idea she did that, but I am thankful that she did. Tia told them all that they are more than welcome to stay for as long as they want. Emi and I will have to talk about what comes next for them. Later though. Right now my mate is still asleep, and I need to go see her.

I teleported into our bedroom to find Emi peacefully asleep on our bed. I walked over to brush some of her hair from her face. Emi rolled onto her back, and rested her hands next to her head. The action made her shirt slide up her body. Then I noticed it. My mark on her lower stomach. I traced the shape of the moon, and our initals hanging from it. I had no idea I had done this. This must have been how Emi was able to take down the barrier. She tapped into my magic. Let's put the rest of our marks on her. Rex suggested with a low growl.

I smirked.

Yes, let's.

I moved on the bed between Emi's legs. She didn't move. I wonder how far I can go until she wakes up. I know she used a lot of her magic today, but we have been apart too long. I need to feel her. I just hope she wakes up soon so I can finish what I'm about to start. I reached to the tops of Emi's jeans to unbutton and unzip them. I looped my fingers through, and slowly pulled them off of her body completely. I'm not being rough, but I'm not being gentle either. Emi only sighed sleepily though.

I chuckled at her as my hands roamed up her legs, across her stomach, and up her shirt. Emi moved slightly, but didn't open her eyes. I pushed her shirt up past her chest. Then I used my claws to rip her bra from her body.

Emi moved some more, but didn't open her eyes. I took her pants, and wrapped them around her wrists. Then I tied them to the bed. Thankfully they're long enough to reach.

My mate stayed asleep the entire time. I looked down at her beautiful body. Bending my head down, I placed my lips to her neck. She smells like that stupid fucker still. I need to drench her in my scent. To make Jace disappear completely.

I kissed down Emi's neck, down her chest. My eyes flickered to her still sleeping face. I can't believe she still hasn't woken up yet. I smirked as I wrapped my lips around one of her nipples. I used my fingers to twirl, and pinch Emi's other n****e.

Emi moaned slightly, but didn't wake up. I kept up my assault on her body. Making sure to give each of her beautiful nipples special attention. They're hard, and red now.

"Ares.." Emi breathed out in her sleep.

I smirked with her nipple in my mouth. I can't take it anymore. I need her awake.

So, with Emi's nipple still in my mouth, I let my fangs protrude. I scraped them across her n****e making her gasp out. Then those beautiful hazel eyes fluttered open. Emi's eyes connected with mine.

"Oh good, you're awake." I said. "Just in time."

"Just... in time?" Emi asked.

"Yup." I said.

Then I bite down. Right on her boob. Emi let out a loud moan. Her back arched, pushing her n****e more into my mouth. I sucked on her blood as I marked her.

After a moment I pulled away. I kept kissing down her body, completely intent to wash away that foul scent that's caked across her. I can feel our bond falling into place more. Emi's excitement, and confusion are clouding my head. "Ares?" My mate breathed out.

"Shh. The rest can wait. Right now, I need to erase this scent from your body." I mumbled against her skin.

Just like I had done before, I kissed and licked every inch of my mates body. I want her to smell like me, and nothing else. I want that cheery blossom scent to mix with my own smokey scent.

I leaned up from Emi's body. I bit down on my wrist, and then shoved it into Emi's mouth. My mate took it greedily. Her eyes never leaving mine.

I opened my mouth to say the ancient words that would put my Demon mark on her, but before I could, the mark appeared.

My Vampire mark had spread around Emi's right boob. It's an intricate design of black vines with thorns. My Demon mark only made it grow. All until it reached my Witches mark, and went all the way up to Emi's neck.

Without thinking, I bent down, and bit onto her neck. I hadn't even noticed that my canines had come out. It's like I became possessed. Not that I mind right now anyways.

After I left my last mark on my mate, I pulled back. My Demon mark connects all the others. It looks like Emi has a tattoo that goes from the lower right side of my stomach, all the way up her torso, around her right boob, up her chest, and around my Werewolf mark. I've never seen anything like this before. Not even with my siblings, or their mates. It's an amazing sight. My mate looks.. stunning.

My fingers trailed lightly across the marks, starting at Emi's neck. Emi shivered under my touch making me smirk. Her hazel eyes are staring up at me with clouded lust.

"You.. marked me." She said.

I nodded.

"We are connected now. Officially, and forever." I told her.

Emi gave me a wide smile.

"Finally." She breathed out.

I chuckled at her. We only weren't marked before because of her. Emi was the one holding back, not me.

Emi's eyes flickered to the mark on my neck. I haven't even seen it myself yet. I bet it looks just as amazing as hers.

My mate frowned.

"Why doesn't yours look like a tattoo?" She asked.

I chuckled as I bent down to kiss her lips.

"Yours must be a normal Werewolf mark. It is in the shape of your teeth. Letting all the other females know that I am taken by a wolf." I told her.

I pressed my lips to hers again, and Emi was quick to push her tongue into my mouth. I missed the taste of her. It wasn't enough before. In that place that I took our souls to. I needed more. Now I can take all I want.

I pulled my lips from my mate to rest my head to hers.

"You are never allowed to leave me again." I told her.

"I will never leave you Ares." Emi told me. "I missed you so much. You have no idea. I never stopped thinking about you."

"I never stopped thinking about you either pet." I told her.

I placed a kiss to the mark on the side of Emi's neck. A shiver ran through her body making me smirk. I'm really going to enjoy getting these reactions from her.

"W-wait Ares." Emi breathed out.

"Hmmm." I hummed out against her marks.

Emi moaned loudly when I did that. I trailed light kisses down her mark. All the way until I got between those beautiful thighs of hers.

"Wh-what about.. th-the... o-others?" Emi asked through her moans.

"Hmm?" I hummed against her mark.

Emi bucked, and arched her back. I had to hold onto her hips to hold her down. I kissed from the end of her mark, down the top of her thighs, until I nestled myself between them. "Th-the B-B-Bancheeeee's.. AH!" Emi moaned loudly when I placed a temporary mark on her inner thigh.

"They are fine." I mumbled as I moved to her other thigh.

"B-but wh-wher are they?" She asked breathlessly.

I leaned up to look into her eyes.

"They are here. They are safe. They also do not matter right now. You can see them when I am done with you." I told her.

"D-done with me?" Emi asked.

I can feel her excitement through our bond. Not one ounce of fear in her. That's my good girl.
