Chapter 13: More Problem

When Hannah left the party and returned to the house, she scoffed as she stepped into the house and realized that Shawn lay on the couch so carelessly. She shook her head and went into the kitchen to get a cup of hot water but there was nothing like that in the little flask that she had bought earlier. Anger seeped through her as her adrenaline rushed up, so marched back into the living room and was about to wake Shawn up but on a second thought, she turned around and walked back into the bedroom. She had a long day and just wanted to get it over by sleeping through the night. Perhaps, tomorrow was going to be another good day for her,

When the Morning sun filtered through the curtains and she was up, Hannah had to prepare for work. By the time she got back from work and stepped into the house she locked eyes with Shawn, he shot a smile at her.

"Hi"

"Hi" She sat on the small dining table and he looked at her wondering what was wrong with her, she had that same look on her face even after she had slept through the night. "Are you alright?"

"What don't you don't you clean up the house or do any work?* She brought herself to ask. Shawn studied the lines of her facts, there was something that was off with her, her demeanor showed it all and he could not turn a blind eye to that. "Are you alright?"

Hannah did not want to say much, after the much drama at the company party yesterday, she just had a lot on her mind.

"Yes, I am" She raked her hand through her hair and looked right back into her eyes.

"Are you disappointed that I am unemployed?"

"Not that I am, I am not disappointed that you are unemployed"

"Then what is wrong with you?"

"That is not the case"

"Then what it is, you know that you can tell me anything"

"I am just having some work-related problems, a lot is going on in my workplace. I'm sorry if I said anything that made you feel that way, it was not intentional. It never really was"

"That's alright you don't have to apologize"

"What I said was wrong, my behavior was out of line and I just should not have said those things to you, I guess I was caught up in a moment, my bad words were uncalled for and if I could go back time then I won't make that same mistake again" "Let's go out"

"Go out to where?"

"Let me take you out to dinner" he stated and she quickly nodded her head. Perhaps, going out for a little change since she had not made dinner, might be the best for the both of them since they would get to enjoy the freezing breeze and see the stares and the full moon. Some rumors walking down the Garden City at night calms the soul and Hannah needed it at that moment.

"Let's go," He told her hand as they walked out of the house. Shawn took her to a classy high-end restaurant. When they got to the restaurant Hannah got out of the car together with Shawn, as he was about walking toward the entrance, Hannah quickly held his hand. "What's wrong?"

So many emotions were evident on her face as she pulled him aside, she felt hopeless.

"I don't think that we should eat here"

"Why? I think that their food is going to be great and so is the water and everything in there"

"Let us just go Somewhere else"

Hannah could tell that eating in this sort of restaurant was very expensive and she need not come around to eat, it was coming here and just wanted to go"

"No Hannah, I want to eat here and this is the sort of place that you should eat as well. I insist that you just relax and eat here with me, alright?".

She nodded her head. "If you say so"

"Everything is going to work out well" he stated, a sly smile on her face. She was worrying too much and he was being a little mischievous. Turning around, he walked into the restaurant with Hannah trailing behind him, she liked around the fancy restaurant, it was nice and warm. As they got into the restaurant to eat, the meal turned out to be a mouth-watering delicious food, everything about the restaurant was just as Shawn had predicted it but one thing was different.

The food was overly priced and she ended up spending almost half of her entire salary.

"How was it?" Shawn asked as he savored the last piece of meat on the plate.

"How was what?"

"The food"

"It was good just as you predicted" She raked her hand through her as she looked up only to find Shawn staring at her.

"What is it?"

"Are you keeping anything away from me?" When he asked out of the blue, she swallowed. Shawn had been waiting for her to confess the truth to him but Hannah would not, she knew the consequences of her actions, if he ever found out that she was a substitute, nevertheless, she wondered if he had already seen right through her and found out the truth that she was just a substitute bride. However, Shawn always was a rogue who has always had a bad reputation with people, if he found out that she lied to him all this while and wasn't his real bride, he would surely kill her. She thought

What makes you think so?" The only thing that she could do was try to buy for herself some time. He was a rogue and she was just a werewolf, of course, she was a born-to-match for him, he was going to beat her up and give her a taste of her own medicine, she didn't want to admit that.

"I don't know I just thought that perhaps there is something that you will like to tell me"

She stared at Shawn, the last thing that she wanted was for him to also find out that was nothing more but an illegitimate child who should not be allowed to see light let alone breathe the same air that anyone breathes. "Shawn"

"Hannah, what is it?" He whispered
