Chapter 15: Angry wolf

Her hand trembled as sweat covered her forehead, and anxiety dwelled on her face as she looked at him, afraid that he might discover something that he shouldn't then she wouldn't know what to do. She wondered what must have pushed him to ask her that question.

However, she could not avoid him for long, that would be very suspicious and she would not want that.

Her family was out of the question since she was an illegitimate child, her father had never wanted her anyway and her stepmother treated her with contempt, they were not people to be trusted.

To think her emotions changed that day she found out about her mother's medical bills only to find out that it wasn't really something that he willingly wanted to do, her father did not want to pay any fee, he only did it since he lost the project. She thought. At least that was why they told her and somehow those owed might be true.

"Hannah, is everything alright with you?" He watches her closely, he is good at this and sometimes she just wishes that he would not but she cannot stop him.

"Yes it is"

He exhaled and was about to resume walking when she held his hand, her eyes grew softer, and a lot of emotion filled her eyes as she asked. "Have I not been treating you well? If I have not been good to you please let me know"

Shawn had not expected her to ask him that question, her scent filled his nose, and he held her hand, his eyes not parting from het he her, he caressed her cheek and pinched the bridge of her nose and she let him. Hannah couldn't push him away since she was enjoying it a little too much. Shawn was nothing like the rogues she had imagined, he was sort with her, and the way she grew softer when his hand fell on her face was something else. She has bit felt that for anyone.

He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, his blatant stare still not wavering from her, she was cute and he knew that, he lifted up her jaw and placed a soft kiss on her forehead.

"You are beautiful" He embraced her and just when she had her hand wrapped around him, he tickled her and she laughed.

"What is it that?" He acted as if he had not done anything. Shawn was a lot more mischievous than she had imagined.

"Come on, you have to tell me" he kissed all around her face and she cleared her throat. As they were passing by the flower shop, Shawn saw some red roses across the street, he knew that she was going to love roses so he dragged her into the shop and before Hannah could tell what was happening, he bought the roses and paid for it with her credit card.

"Thanks, they are beautiful" She admitted. That wasn't a lie since those red roses were really beautiful, and were really entering her eyes.

"You have to tell me, tell me about them" he was still insistent about her family but Hannah didn't want to touch that reveal that part of her life yet as fear cast over her. When he spots a candy stand, he drags Hannah and rushes over and buys some candies for her with her credit card. That went on and on and Shawn kept buying a lot of things for her with her credit card so she could tell him the truth, Hai actions annoyed her wolf and she began to dislike Shawn.

"Oh, I hate him so much," Her wolf said and Hannah rolled her eyes. She already knows that his actions must have pushed her wolf to speak out but she needed to do something about it so she does not go on hating him.

"It's not like that, he is just being himself" She defended him while watching Shawn as he paid for her ice cream with her credit card. By this time, Hannah was hot are how much was remaining in her account but she didn't dwell on the thought for much longer as they got back to the house.

"Yeah right, trying to defend him, are you?"

"What? No, he is not like that at all, and there is no reason for me to defend him since he is not a bad person"

"Already jumping to conclusions, is it?"

"No and stop being that way, I really want to have a good relationship with Shawn. There is a lot that I want to make work since I cannot have my old life back and this is now my life so please" "Alright"

"I will go fresher up" Shawn looked at her as she fell on the couch.

"Alright, you can go" She closed her eyes for a while, tomorrow was going to be another day at work.

Shawn went out to meet up with G in a restaurant since he had called him over, he sounded very serious over the phone and he had to get there immediately" "Hey Man"

"Hey," Shawn played some game on his phone. He hoped that he had something better to tell him.

"I have found out about what you told me to"

Shawn quickly grabbed the remote and turned off the television, he was all ears now.

"Tell me, man"

"Well it seems there seems to be some love triangle there, her direct boss happens to be her ex and he has a girlfriend who happens to be Hannah's colleague. you can call it a love triangle between the three since Ashley thinks Hannah wants to take her boyfriend, Mike from her, they are both making her life miserable in there"

When Shawn heard that there was a love triangle that existed in the company, he became very jealous.

"So how do I help her out and get both Ashley and Mike off her back"

"No! Don't do anything, just make sure that you don't do anything, you cannot help her out, at least not at the moment"

"Alright, so what should I do then?"

"Nothing at the moment, just let it be, I will tell you what to do"

"Alright" G had hoped he would come up with a plan real quick so that he could get onto it.

"I have to get back home, see you around"

G watched him as he walked out of the restaurant.

When Shawn got back to the house, he stood at the door and looked around the living room, there was so much to do and so he decided that he was going to clean up the house. He had been a bit too much. He thought. He rolled up his sleeves and began to tidy the living room, cleaning up the living room and kitchen, he washed the dishes and arranged them just the way that Hannah would love before moving to her bedroom. As he got into her bedroom, he started sorting out her clothes when his hand felt something lacy, he raised it up only to stare at her red lingerie, and hair as he gawked at that sexy lingerie, Hannah entered the room.

"What are you doing?" Her throat dried up. He took steps towards her and quickly Pulled her into his arms, his heart raced as her hand fell on his hard chest, he stared into her eyes and she stared right back at him.
