Chapter 25: A side of him

Shawn was remorseful as he went over to the supermarket to get those pads for her, he wasn't sure if her period was caused by him and his head too hard on her. As he grabbed the pads from the store, he raked his hand through his hair, aware that she might be in a lot

of pains as well.

He had seen other women on their period, and he knew what it was for other women to be on their period, it was something painful for them. As he grabbed the sanitary pads, and walked back to the house, he was mad at himself for what he did. Right there, he wished he had not gone through with what he did, not because he didn't enjoy it. Of course he did, if ever had will want to relive that memory again. He could still remember how sweet it was kidding her beautiful body. She was someone that he admired, and letting him do all that to her showed that he trusted her, and he was glad about that.

When Shawn got back to the house, Hannah had already freshened up and was doing the dishes. She couldn't let those dirty dishes stay in the sink over the night. It was something that disgusted her and made her feel unwell.

"What are you doing right now?" Shawn asked as he got back into the house

"I am doing the dishes"

"I know what you are doing, I am asking you what you think that you are doing over there, you should be in bed getting better and not standing over there doing some lousy dishes"

"These dishes are not lousy at all, I like doing the dishes, and besides someone has to do it so that here doesn't look like a madhouse"

That was funny, but he would rather she stay in bed and take care of herself than stand over there doing those dishes as if she doesn't do it no one else an do it. he had it in mind to do the dishes but that was only after he made her some dinner, he knew she was starving and needed to eat so she wouldn't lose weight and pass out. She was in her heat and would be losing blood so she might be getting dizzy often.

"Leave that plate there and get over here"

"What are you talking about?"

Shawn lowered the pad to the little table and folded his arms. "I feel responsible for what happened tonight"

She turned off the tab and looked at him. "Why will you feel responsible? You didn't do anything wrong, this was meant to come out whether we did something or not"

"Or perhaps, I was not being a lot soft on you, I was too hard right? I was too hard when I slipped my hand in right?"

"No you were not too hard on me at all, you were just being yourself at all times and that is something that I love about you a lot, you are not like other men, so stop feeling guilty. I had a good time, we bother had a good time"

Hannah wondered if he was like this with other women as he was with her. She couldn't tell as he walked closer to her and held her hand, leading her to a stool for her to sit down and watch him do the dishes.

"What are you doing right now?" She has not been there to watch him today at the house. She only returned to find the house neat and in order, that was something that she didn't done and even though she didn't ask him about it already knew that he was the only one who was at home so he was the one who did it.

"I want to do the dishes"

"And what will I be doing?"

"First, you go get these pads on, and then you will sit on that stool and do nothing, you are just a spectator today" His lips firmed and she shook her head, are you sure about that?.

"Alright Boss" she shook her head and picked up the pad that he had bought, she smiled seeing that he had bought the brand that she loved to use.

"Are you alright?" He asked seeing that familiar smile on her face and she nodded her head. "It's time for me to go get these on"

"You don't need help getting those on"

She laughed. Was he being serious right now? Of course, she knew how to get those on, she had been wearing them for so long that she could not forget how to get them on, it was right in her head.

"Of course I don't need help, except you want to..." she paused and he looked at her wondering what it was she wanted to say for a moment when it dawned on him what she was implying, he was amazed that she would be thinking about that in her condition. "How can you have that silly thought right now when you should be more concerned about yourself, you are turning into a woman with a twisted mind all of a sudden"

"You are funny right now, how am I doing that?"

"You think that I only asked so that I can come and continue to see.... I won't, not when you are in here period"

"Why do you have to be so good?" She took the pads and walked into the house"

He shook his head smiling as he watched her walk away, and cornered into the bedroom.

"What a woman?"

"Should I have gone to see her put on her pad? She can do it right?" He thought as he picked up the dishes and started to wash them. Shawn was not happy that she had tried to stress herself in her condition, though he knows nothing about her secret, he had a feeling that Hannah was always like this, she was someone who loved to tidy.

He loved that about her, sometimes, it was not that he could not tidy the house, of course, he could. However, he wanted to see if she would do it or was going to ask him to do it. Hannah never asked not even when she had returned back from work late or when she was preoccupied with work. He saw her in the night when she wakes up and starts to go through one document or the other.

When Shawn was done with the dishes, he went to make dinner for the both of them. She had told him earlier that she was hungry and he remembered perfectly. Hannah was not the sort of woman that anyone was going to forget anything about that easily. He was going to remember everything, as he set the pot on fire. He had to make her way everything on her plate so that she would not look so pale since she was in her period.

He was cutting some vegetables when she got back into the kitchen, seeing him making dinner, a smile formed on her lips and she shook her head. He was really different from other men that she knew. At least, Mike cannot be compared to him, they were different people.
