when Shawn and Hannah looked up, they saw his mother standing there she was not happy to see the both of them having dinner as though they were couples, and she had already been crowned a Luna. "I ask again what is going on here?"

'what does it look like?" Shawn was quick to speak up so that Hannah would not bother talking

"I wasn't talking to you "

"Who were you talking to them? is it Hannah? I don't think you even know her for both of you to be friends, and for you to be telling her anything. We are having dinner at my mother's so why don't you go back to your room, it is already late and dark has already covered the sky"

His mother could not believe that he was talking to her in that manner, she thought that he would never side with her as she was his mother and he had always loved her so much.

His mother glares at him, she never thought a day would come in which she would see him speak to her in this manner and even side with someone other than her. Shawn has always been fond of her and loved her, he always had a soft spot for his mother and anytime that she asked for anything she didn't hesitate to give her but now it was different, she was chosen to leave her side and be with the one who will make him happy. Even being the Alpha and ruling the pack will never make him happy as much as being with her, that will make him happy.

His mother shook his head disapproving and disappointed at him for having to say all that to her face in front of Hannah. however, Hannah remained silent she knew it was not in her place to speak, and she would not want to have any form of conversation with his mother since she did not like him and did not approve of her, she would only be wasting her breath if she decides to be nice and try to have a conversation with her.

"So you defend her in front of me and not even behind, and you talk to me so carelessly in front of her, is she that important to you more than I am? I am your mother"

"You're the one who started this since you are the one who came around and tried to make her feel bad. you shouldn't have done that no matter what" Shawn was not remorseful over his actions, she was the one who had forced his hand and if need be, he would still do it again, in his heart, he had made up his mind that he was going to defend her in front of everyone no matter what, and if it comes to worse, he might have to return back to Garden City with her. if it wasn't for the enemy who was loitering around, trying to Sabotage him and kill his family he wouldn't even be here. he would have been in Garden City with her, at least back there they had peace of mind, and she would always smile all the time but ever since he got back to his house he has not seen her smile at all and that broke his heart. "You should leave Mother, there's no place for you here, and I am sure that you have had your dinner so sitting here and looking at us will only make you feel bad but that won't change my mind, no one can change my mind at all, not today, not tomorrow, nor ever!"
