Chapter 89: I miss you

As Shawn took a walk around the pack, he was glad he took a stroll around the pack and saw the things that he had not seen in a while ever since he left the park. it was a good thing that no one knew him now that he had left and come back. While he was with his parents in the pack, he was just a tall handsome man, but now he was muscular and had bears, his arbs hidden behind under a shiny fitting shirt, Hannah had gifted that to him on her first paycheck even though she has taken him to the restaurant, and so Shawn had turned that into one of his favorite shirts and her properly folded it into his bag when they were heading back home.

he did not know when they would return to Garden City, but then, he always wanted her to know that she would be the only one in his heart, so he didn't hesitate to keep wearing that shirt out of all the expensive shirts that he had back home. after the long walk around the park, he went back home, walking into the house, he bumped into Hannah at the doorstep and she looked at him but didn't say a word.

She was about to walk past him when he finally held her hand.

"What is wrong?"

"Let me go"

"Where are you going to?"

"I am taking a walk around the pack and you're not going to stop me"

"I never intended to, but then you don't even know anywhere, and I plan to do this with you tomorrow," Shawn didn't know what had only gotten into her, he knew she was sad after their meal, but he thought that after talking to her she was going to change her mind and she was not going to be mad at him anymore.

"I don't need you doing it for me, you came home for your parents and you should spend time with them I don't want them thinking that I took you away from them and saying all sorts of things"

Tell me, what did they say to you?"

Hannah shook her head, she was not getting the point, it wasn't that his parents said anything to her while he was away. it was just that she felt guilty that she was taking someone's son away from them, and Shawn was not making things any better, even though his parents may not accept her, he was equally picking a fight with them and countering any of their statements that they make about her.

"They did not say anything at all and will you stop acting that way"

"I'm not acting in any way, I don't want them to say things about you that they are not even sure of"

"They are not saying anything about me alright"

"Then why are you this way, I certainly leave and then suddenly you decide that you're going to be mad at me, at least tell me what I did, and I will apologize over and over again. you know I hate to see you this way"

"You did nothing wrong, and I don't want her apologizing at all"

"Then why are you mad at me?"

"I am not mad at you" She ran her hand through her hair. This was not what she wanted, this was not where she wanted their conversation to be going. she could not blame him for anything, and while she reprimanded him for disrespecting his mother in the dining room, deep in her heart she was equally glad that he stood up for her, and made her feel so important. he placed her in a place she never expected, she never really thought that he was going to do that in front of his mother. All this while, she did not know how important she was to him until today. This trip opened her eyes and she finally realized that she was everything that he desired.

Then why are you so silent and distant?"

"Don't mind me, but you are not the one to blame. I am just Trying to figure out a lot"

"Figure out what? we can figure it out together because no matter what, I am not letting you go, and at the end of the day, you will see that my parents will accept you"

She ran her index finger on his face and was glad that he was equally optimistic about the whole situation, even though she didn't expect him to put his parents in their place again.

"Shawn" she whispered and engulfed him tightly.

"Wait till tomorrow and I will take you around"

Hannah knew that it was not every time that she needed someone to always be around and take her somewhere, even though this was her first time coming to his pack, she was going to try and figure her way around by herself, but Shawn didn't have to come. he was just coming back from his stroll so he should rest.

"I don't want you to come with me, right now I just want to be alone and take a Walk Beside the evening seems so good to take a walk, I will walk down to the Stream and into the busy streets filled with people. what could happen?"

"I'm not saying that Anything Could Happen, but I wanted to go with"

"Not this time around please" she pleaded with him, and he nodded his head even though he wasn't really happy that he was letting her go, he knew he had to let her have her way so she wouldn't get mad at him and insist that she was leaving the house. "Take care of yourself, and don't think too much because in the end everything will work out perfectly, you will see"

"I hope so soon" As she attempts to walk away, he quickly pulls her closer, and into his arms embracing her tightly and inhaling her scent, which will keep him together until she finally gets back.

"Don't stay out too long, I'll miss you"

"You're sounding as if I'm going out for a long time, it is not going to last forever, but just for a short while"
