Chapter 91: Enemy is lurking around

Hannah turned around and headed back home she could no longer hear the footsteps for she had managed to fool him and so the enemy was no longer following her. he must have thought that Hannah was exactly as she appeared, weak and easy to get, but then she wasn't at all. she wasn't someone that you could tell what she would do at any time, she knew what she wanted and she didn't hesitate to get it. As Hannah walked back to the house, the only thing on her mind was getting to Shawn and letting him know everything that happened. He needs to prepare just in case anyone decides to come after any of his family once again then he will have no choice but to do a deal with them and put them in their place.

"Shawn" she called out his name as she got home, running towards his bedroom, she knocked on the door before entering the room only to see Shawn lying on the bed, when his eyes fell on her, he quickly got up, smiling. He must have thought she had come just for him. not that she had come for someone else, but then, he thought that she had come to make it up to him and to tell him that she was sorry for scolding him and she was happy that he stood up for her. "Hannah"

"Are you all right?" she asked when she should be the one who was worried about herself yet she kept thinking about him all through the run back to the house. she was panting heavily and so Shawn quickly stood up from the bed helping her out, and she sat down. "I should be asking you if you're alright, what happened? Why are you running as if you're being chased? Are you being chased? Do my parents do anything to you? Tell me"

Shawn was being too much and she just glared at him but did not say anything at all. even if his parents were chasing her she didn't think they would be too wicked to harm her and make her suffer like the enemy wanted to which is why he came to the woods, somewhere he knew many people did not come to at that time of the day, they will prefer to walk on the street holding hands and making out than taking a walk down the woods at that hour of the day, only few would run to the mountains to train and to get their wolf stronger. "Your parents did not do anything to me"

"Then what happened? tell me please"

"I was about to do that"

"Hannah, you are keeping me in suspense and I hate it"

"Will come down?" when it comes to her, she has not yet realized that Shawn will always be anxious and eager. just the Mere thought of her drives him crazy let alone hearing her voice and anything that had to do with her. ""Alright I will"

"You have to be careful, is everyone around you safe? what about your parents are they all right?"

"My parent should be in the bedroom, but why are you worried about them when they're not even worried about you, you should be worried about yourself and let them be. even if they don't accept you, I have already accepted you and no one is going to change my mind, don't have to worry if they decide to make you the Luna or not, we can go back to Garden City and leave the All through the rest of Her Life. you will never have to return back to this place and I will never have to see them, it will just be the two of us as always I already told you that"

"It is not about returning back to Garden City and neither is this about your parents not accepting me. It has nothing to do with any of that, garden city might be my home but I don't think it is a place for you"

"What do you mean?"

"You're the alpha of your pack and you are supposed to protect your people, and that includes your parents as well. when I was off in the street I noticed something, the smiles on the people, I can't take away the one thing that they want"

"You're not taking away anything, I have not decided for myself, when I say that you're my mate I meant that I was going to stick by your side no matter what, and anyone says it will be you and no one else one can tell me what to do, and I will certainly tell you that I will not leave you just to cover serve the people before I came, everything has always been under control and my father has ruled as Alpha and so even after I leave things will still go back to how it was since nobody knows that I am back, and I haven't announced my arrival yet. when I walked down the street no one recognized me as the Alpha so no one bothered to stop me, they would only look at me and walk past because I was not the same boy that I used to be, they looked at me because I was handsome and not because I was a dutiful Alpha of their Park"

"You are wrong"

"There is someone that recognizes you"

He was confused how could anyone recognize him when he hadn't been around for many years, no one recognized him at all, he made sure of that which was why he left his bears and did not bother to check them, and never announced his arrival, and not even all of the maidservant knows who I was when I was living here in my pack.

"Someone recognized me?" She ran her house over here looking at him, confusion suddenly cast on his face.

"Yes"

"How? Who? To recognize me?" He sat down, wondering who he was.
