The salesperson had a keen eye, instantly sizing up Molly as she walked in. Her chic outfit, paired with a designer watch and a sparkling diamond ring, screamed sophistication. It was clear she wasn't the average customer; run-of-the-mill jewelry simply wouldn't do. "Madam, are you looking for couple's bands or wedding rings today?" the salesperson inquired politely.

Molly smiled, "It's for our wedding."

"Perfect timing! We just received some new designs from our headquarters. They're not yet on display, but if you don't mind, I can show them to you in our VIP lounge," the salesperson suggested.

Molly turned to Chad, "Shall we sit and take a look?"

"Sure, whatever you like," he replied, easily.

They followed the salesperson to the lounge, where they were soon settled with steaming cups of tea while the salesperson fetched the rings.

The most exquisite pieces were kept under wraps, not for exclusivity's sake but for their sheer value and allure.

In no time, the salesperson returned with a selection of the store's finest treasures, including various necklaces and bracelets for Molly to peruse. A good commission on a sale like this could easily surpass a month's salary.

As expected, Molly's interest was piqued.

She examined each piece meticulously before her eyes settled on a diamond ring that sparkled under the lights. The women's ring boasted a dazzling stone, and the silver jewel made her heart skip a beat for the first time. The men's band was modest and straightforward, much like their personalities. Chad was simple and unassuming; Molly was bold and loved complexity. Yet, these two contrasting souls were about to become life partners.

Molly pointed at the set, "Let's try these on."

With gloves on, the salesperson presented the rings. Molly extended her hand, her slender fingers drawing compliments, "Madam, your hands are beautiful. Do you play the piano?"

"No, I was just well-nurtured," Molly quipped as the ring was slipped onto her finger.

The salesperson, aiming for rapport, asked, "And what do you do for a living? You have such a presence; do you work in an office?"

Molly chuckled, "I'm currently living off my parents, soon to be off my husband."

Chad laughed affectionately beside her.

As the salesperson turned to assist Chad with the fitting, Molly assertively reached out, "I'll do it."

She couldn't bear the thought of another woman sliding a ring onto Chad's finger. Her jealousy was as unreasonable as it was fierce, much like her brother Andre's.

With the ring in hand, she tenderly grasped Chad's rough, calloused hand-a testament to years of hard work. His hands could have been the envy of any hand model with proper care.

As Molly slipped the ring onto Chad's finger, she reflected on the hand that had held hers for sixteen years, a rush of emotions flooding her.

Their eyes met, fiery and intense.

Once the rings were on, they fit perfectly, as if custom-made.

"It's serendipitous," the salesperson exclaimed. "These are fresh from our headquarters, and you're the first couple to try them on. They're called 'Match Made in Heaven"."

Molly compared her hand with Chad's, biting her lip and looking up at the man so close to her. "Chad, do they look good?"

Chad's rough hand covered hers, a gentle yet firm statement. "This is it. Let's pay."

The salesperson, taken aback by the swift decision, asked, "Is there anything else you might need?"

Chad had his card at the ready as Molly tried on a pair of earrings, with him patiently by her side.

Struggling to get the earring in due to not wearing studs for a while, she called out, "Chad~"

Chad, her bag slung over his arm, helped her ease the earring into place. He'd initially disapproved when she wanted to get her ears pierced, only for her to go ahead without his blessing, which had left him flustered and unable to scold her. Back then, Molly had argued, "Brother, a girl without pierced ears at her wedding is at a disadvantage. It's one less piece of jewelry."

Now, he was the one buying her bridal jewelry.

After a few minutes, the earrings were on, and Chad handed over his card.

The salesperson, seeing such decisiveness, couldn't help but ask, "Sir, you seem very accomplished. What is it that you do?" Chad replied, "I serve the people."

With a knowing smile, the salesperson finalized the transaction and bid the couple farewell.

They moved on to a furniture store upstairs. Molly, eyeing a colorful bedspread, tested the fabric, "Grandma would love this."

"What can I help you with today?" a store assistant approached.

Molly glanced around, "We're looking for bedding for our wedding."

The assistant led them to the bridal section, which was filled with red bedding sets. Molly, her trendy purse in tow and the newly purchased ring in Chad's possession, bent down to feel the material of a particular set, "How much for this ten-piece set?" Her serious demeanor suggested she had done her homework.

Chad, having grown up shopping with Molly, was oblivious to the fact that beddings came in ten-piece sets.

After hearing the price, Molly wasn't quite satisfied and went on to compare other sets in various stores, undecided.

Tired from shopping, she clung to Chad's arm, acting spoiled. He lovingly took her hand and led her to a restaurant. While waiting to pay, he glanced back at the girl engrossed with her notes, stepped out to a nearby tea shop, and returned with a sugar-free drink for her. "Hm?" Molly beamed, "Thanks, Chad."

Clutching the drink, she moved next to Chad, nudging him towards the window, and settled beside him, "Chad, do you remember the bedding we saw earlier? Between the ten-piece and eight-piece sets, which one do you prefer?"

"The ten-piece," he said decisively.

"It's a once-in-a-lifetime wedding. Go for the ten-piece set," Chad wasn't about to let his girl compromise.

Molly pressed on, "And what about the two six-piece sets we saw later?"

Chad looked puzzled, "I thought we decided on a ten-piece for the wedding suite. Why consider a six-piece set?"

Finally, it was Molly's turn to roll her eyes at Chad. She flipped her hair back and gave him a look of exasperation. "Getting hitched isn't just about decking out the honeymoon suite," she scolded. "My bachelorette pad needs a makeover too. When you roll up in your ride to pick me up, the cameras will be rolling. I can't have my room looking like a teenybopper's dream, now can I?"
