Lunch arrived just as Mia was pulling out some fruit from her backpack. She borrowed a small knife to slice it up for everyone to share at the table.

Jamie tried a piece and said, "Mia, where did you get this grapefruit? It's so sweet! Isn't it out of season?"

Mia shrugged, "No idea, my family bought it. I just eat."

"You live with your family, right?" Denny asked, curious.

Jamie jumped in, "Of course! Remember the first day of school? Mia was dropped off by her parents. They must live nearby. Her parents looked so classy, I was totally impressed."

"Yeah, Mia, if you live so close, why don't you just go home for lunch?" Jamie added.

Mia took a bite of her spicy salad and said, "My family's place is pretty far." Her parents' house was far, and her in-laws' even further. Though she was close to her dad's office, she couldn't just pop in for lunch there. "You seem to know everything the teacher talks about," Mia said, steering the conversation toward studies.

"Yeah, I started prepping back in junior year. Now I'm just going over everything again," Jamie replied. "Denny, you're retaking the entrance exams, right? You seem super prepared. The teacher thinks you're most likely to get in this year." Mia looked at Denny like he was a new discovery. "You're retaking the exams?"

Denny nodded, "Yeah, I didn't get into my first-choice university last year and decided to give it another shot for Havenbrook University's law program. Mia, you're an undergrad there, right?"

Mia nodded, "Yeah, I am." More than just an undergrad, she thought, if only her position as university president wasn't just for show.

"Denny, you're such a brainiac, that's amazing! I just hope any college takes me this year," Jamie said with admiration.

But Mia was thinking differently. It seemed the entrance exam wasn't that hard if he only missed by a couple of points last year and was trying again. Maybe it's not so difficult, she thought. Lacking understanding, she didn't feel the same respect.

"Well, good luck this year, you'll definitely make it," Mia said in a neutral tone, offering some encouragement.

Denny then asked, "Mia, which grad program are you aiming for?"

Mia shrugged again, "I don't know. I haven't really worried about it. This is my first year preparing, my family's handling everything else. I just focus on studying."

The most important men in her life all looked after her, even her youngest son, who would pick out books for her.

"First year, huh? Well, good luck. I learned most of the stuff last year, so if you need help, just ask," Denny offered warmly.

Mia thanked him, but her phone rang as she was eating.

She picked it up to see Naomi calling. "Hey, Naomi."

Naomi was trying to calm the crying toddler at home, "Henry, listen, it's Mia."

Mia smiled and took a few bites of her meal before standing up. "I need to take this call," she told her classmates.

Finding a quiet spot, Mia listened to the baby's cries, "Crying again at home?"

"Mummy."

"Missing mommy?"

"Yes."

Henry was in tears, sitting on the couch, clutching the phone.

Hearing this, Mia's heart ached, "Naomi, I'll come home."

"No need, Andre's on his way."

As it turned out, Andre was about to have lunch when he got the call from home. Leaving his meal untouched, he rushed out, leaving his assistant Noah surprised "Boss, where are you heading?"

"Henry's causing a fuss at home, refusing to eat. I'm heading back."

Andre didn't get any calls on his way, but when he arrived, he saw his son clinging to the phone, crying to his mother's voice.

Seeing Andre, Henry tossed the phone aside, lifted his little arms, and cried for his father's embrace.

Andre picked up his son, and Naomi quickly assured Mia over the phone, "Go have your lunch, Andre's here, don't worry."

"Oh, okay." Mia felt a bit disappointed. She usually heard her husband's caring words, but not today. "Why isn't he worried about me?" she wondered.

Andre, holding his clingy son,

comforted him until the tears stopped, He then fed Henry spoonfuls of his lunch. "Starting to act up, missing mom and dad so much you won't eat?"

Henry obediently opened his mouth, much like his mother when upset with Andre, refusing to eat.

Mia returned to the dining area to find Jamie and Denny nearly done with their meals, "Mia, your food's getting cold, better eat up." Distracted, Mia sat down and started eating.

That afternoon, after calming Henry, Andre prepared to leave, but Henry chased after him, crying.

Unable to bear it, Andre went back, scooped up his son, and took him to the car.

"André, leave Henry at home, go to work," Naomi suggested.

But Andre, ever soft-hearted, wiped his son's tears, "Work can wait, I'll take him to the office. Naomi, you take a break at home."

The crying baby once again visited Cedillo Inc., entering the lobby as if he were going to work himself, excitedly waving at everyone. People passing by waved back at the "little CEO."

Andre, watching his lively son, wrapped him in a loving embrace, filled with affection.

Once in the office, he plopped him on the floor and let him be.

After a while, Noah came out and asked Andre, "Boss, about that celebrity you asked me to look into, the one with concert tickets costing twelve thousand a few years back. It's really tough to track. Some scalpers raised prices, selling tickets worth a few thousand for up to twenty thousand. There are too many variables, so it's hard to pinpoint."

Andre rested his hand under his nose, his thoughts hard to read, "Check all of Molly's social media accounts, starting from high school to the end of her freshman year."
