"Who are you looking for?" Conner asked, gripping Annie's hand tightly, staking his claim as he faced off with Chad.

Chad gave him a quick glance and said, "Not you."

Annie glanced at the childish duo and kept her hand in Conner's.

Chad found the medical examiner and, with a worried look, asked, "Is there anything to help with morning sickness for pregnant women? Molly refuses medication and hasn't been eating." His attempts to comfort her had been in vain. The examiner was taken aback, "Molly's pregnant?"

Easton jumped in, "Wait, she's pregnant?"

Everyone around was surprised, "What? Who's pregnant?"

Annie was thrilled, "Molly's expecting?"

Soon enough, word spread that their youngest, whom they all cherished like a little sister, was going to be a mom.

Even though they hadn't known Molly for long, she felt like family, like a younger sister they'd watched grow up.

Conner found out too and turned to Annie, "Did you hear? Your little sister's going to be a mom. When are we going to talk about our future?"

Annie replied, "You do your thing, I'll do mine. Let's not meddle in each other's lives, okay?"

"That's not okay. Annie, if you don't come back with me to get married, I'll bankrupt Chapman Inc."

"Let it go bankrupt then. It'll save me the hassle of convincing my parents to retire."

Conner was left speechless. She was definitely not playing by the usual rules.

Everyone faces their fair share of life's hassles.

Like when the person you have a crush on doesn't feel the same;

Or watching your beloved wife suffer through morning sickness and feeling helpless;

Or worse, when someone's kid is so adorable they get snatched without anyone noticing.

Andre was in a foul mood, almost boiling over. He stared at the phone number, aware that one call could turn Havenbrook upside down.

Just as he was about to dial, Mia posted in the family group chat, "Who took my son?"

At the BBQ joint, Leo saw the message and quickly asked his girlfriend, "Babe, did you tell your family you took the little guy out?"

Anya was about to grab some food, but stopped in her tracks, looking panicked, "Oh no. Chad, I—I was so into watching the bears today, I totally forgot."

They had a packed schedule: a test in the morning, a nap at noon, waking up to have the little one showcase his "walking" skills with Chad, shopping for bear-themed stuff in the afternoon, and finishing the day with BBQ. Anya was having so much fun, she forgot the most important thing.

A minute later, Leo posted a picture in the family group chat of the messy little one trying to snag his brother's chopsticks.

The Cedillo family let out a collective sigh of relief, thankful that nothing was lost.

Havenbrook avoided a major upheaval.

Andre's heart settled, and everyone breathed easier. Upon realizing their son was missing, Mia had been on edge, unable to show weakness, and immediately began investigating. Hansen wiped the sweat from his brow, "That Anya, always picking up bad habits from her aunt."

Mia got straight to the point, "My son was missing for a whole day. If it had been a real abduction, it'd be like finding a needle in a haystack. Let's thank Anya for the wake-up call."

By 8:30 PM, Anya returned home, burdened with a hefty backpack and carrying Henry, who had spent the day enjoying the outdoors.

Henry realized that going out with his siblings was a blast. There were beautiful sights, fun activities, and best of all, his siblings let him try all sorts of tasty treats.

He took a small sip of a strange drink, and his brother had him lick a lime, which was so sour he couldn't keep his eyes open.

There were so many delicious foods, all tastier than his baby food, and even the adults' cookies tasted better.

After a fun-filled day, he cheerfully came home, raising his arms eagerly for his mom to pick him up.

Mia scooped up her son, showering him with kisses, as the whole family crowded around Henry, "Where did you wander off to?"

Andre didn't mind his son's sour smell, hugging him and kissing his forehead. The joy of getting him back was beyond any surprise.

Anya knew she had messed up. She leaned against the door, apologizing and admitting her mistake. Knowing that the family had been frantic searching for Henry, she felt guilty to the point of tears. To her surprise, no one scolded her; they just gave her a few reminders.

Afterwards, the Cedillo family set a

new rule: whoever was in charge of Henry for the day had to take a photo and post it in the group chat, proving their little treasure was safe, to prevent any future

ves

misunderstandings. Mia, stil shaken by the incident, often asked for updates on her son whenever she had a moment.

Anya got tagged as "the baby snatcher."

Molly, on the other hand, had an unshakeable tag of "loves to snatch babies."

That phone call made Hansen realize just how intense his daughter's morning sickness was. By chance, the next day was a weekend, and Mia had a short break from her postgraduate studies.

The Cedillo family rose early to visit the Byrne family and check in on Jade, whom they'd seen just a few days prior.

This time, Molly stayed in bed, and

no one could bring themselves to wake her. Usually, Chad was the one to rouse her, but today, he was. quieter than a mouse. Even with all the care, Molly still woke up feeling weak and with a headache.

Mia, holding her child, sat by the bed, watching her friend wake up. She looked at her lively, adorable nephew as Molly reached out from under the blanket to pinch his little toes, "Henry, where did you run off to yesterday, getting your grandpa to blame me?"

"Blub blub blub."

Mia answered, "Henry was amazing yesterday, went out with his siblings for the whole day. He came back all sweaty and smelly, but he was so happy. He didn't even want to wash up until Andre and I bathed him in the sink." Henry pouted his lips and gave a strong "Hmm," happily clinging to Aunt Anya again, hoping she'd take him out once more today.

Molly gazed at the little bundle and sighed, "Mia, I finally understand the struggle you went through."

Anya, who had been listening for a while, curiously asked, "Auntie, does your mouth taste bitter, and do you get headaches every time you throw up?"

Molly looked up at the well-behaved Anya. "You've never been pregnant, how come you know all this?"

At that moment, Anya got off the bed, realizing it was her time to shine. "My mom's pregnant too, you know."

While traveling abroad, Mrs. Calder, an older expectant mother, found herself feeling particularly frail. During those days, she spent her time in bed like a patient. That's when Anya stepped up to the plate. "Auntie, just hang on a minute."

She went downstairs and bumped into Chad, "Uncle, can I use your kitchen?"

Chad instructed the housekeeper to take Anya to the kitchen.

Before long, the sisters came downstairs, and the sounds coming from the kitchen let everyone know that Anya had taken on her role as the cheerful little chef once again.
