Sweet Redemption Chapter 27

I stared into my mates eyes for a few seconds before smashing my lips to hers.

Ahkari kissed me back immediately. I ran my tongue along her bottom lip and she opened her mouth for me. Slipping my tongue in her mouth I groaned.

Turning us around I pushed Ahkari into the wall without taking my lips from hers. My hands traveled down her body to cup one of her breasts. I could practically taste her [**t now. I love how she gets worked up for me so fast. Pulling on her life essence I feed on her little by little.

Pulling back I started kissing her neck.

"Mmmm." I hummed agaisnt her skin. "You taste so f*****g good Ahkari." I whispereed in her ear.

Ahkari moaned as I sucked on her neck. I was moving my way down her neck, to the top of her chest. Excitement was rushing through me as I got closer and closer to those perfect titties of hers. My brow furrowed.

"Huh?" I asked.

Ahkari smiled at me.

"I don't want to tell you, and ruin the surprise, but you are wanted in the Head Mistress's office." She stated professionally.

Surprise took over my features.

"Oh." I breathed out. "I should probably put pants on." I commented making my mate giggle.

"Yeah probably." She said.

Reluctantly, I pulled away completely, and walked to my suitcase. Pulling out a pair of black leggings I quickly shoved my legs in them. I felt Ahkari's eyes on me the whole time. Rushing to my bathroom I pulled my hair up into a messy bun. Walkikng back out I turned to my mate.

"Should I be dressed more professionally?" I asked her.

Ahkari covered her mouth trying to hide her amusement.

"No. You look amazing as always, but Tia doesn't care about that stuff. You do know that Werewolves run around here naked all the time right?" She asked laughing. "Really?" I asked her.

My mate nodded.

"It isn't often since there are clothes everywhere in the forest, but it happens." She told me.

"Okay, I think I'm ready." I told her.

"I'll walk you." Ahkari offered.

I smiled at my mate as she opened the door for me. Walking out I waited as Ahkari stepped out as well and shut my door. I started to walk down the hall, but Ahkari reached out grabbing my hand, and stopping me. She pulled me close to her and pressed a soft kiss to my lips.

Smiling, she laced our fingers together and started down the hall. A goofy smile spread across my face and stayed plastered there as we walked through the halls.

Classes ended, but the school is litered with students of ll ages. No one spared us a glance as we walked through the halls. Ahkari seemed completely at ease as she walked us to her sisters office.

Once we reached the office door Ahkari turned to face me.

"I'm going to head back to my house. Acaisia is pretty mad at me I think. And I need to pack." She told me.

"Pack?" I asked her.

My mate smiled brightly.

"Don't worry. It'll make sense soon." She said. "Let me see your phone."

Reaching in the pocket of my leggings I pulled it out, and unlocked it before handing it to her. I watched as Ahkari put her number in my phone. Pulling me flush to her side she pressed her lips to my cheek, and snapped a picture. I didn't see it, but apparently she liked it. Ahkari finished putting her contact in my phone, then handed it back to me. "Call or text me anytime. Even if it's tonight." She told me. "Have fun." She said, and then pressed her lips against mine again.

While this kiss was short it was full of passion. It was clear that Ahkari didn't want to part from me either. The feeling was still strange to me. I never even cared about anyone before. Now, here I was reluctant to be separated from a person i just met yesterday. Only, Ahkari isn't just a person.

She's my mate. Mine. All mine. Meant for me.

I watched as Ahkari walked away before taking a deep breath and knocking on the door.

"Come in." I heard Tia call out.

Opening the door I walked in then shut it. Looking around I saw Tia sitting behind a desk, Max standing behind her. Bou was sitting comfortably in one of the chairs.

"Bout time you got here sis." Bou teased as I walked over to sit with him.

"Shut up." I grumbled at him.

"Honestly, I'm surprised you weren't more late." Max commented.

I turned to him.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked.

"Nothing." He said innocently, and I narrowed my eyes at him. "Just when I sent Ahkari to get you, I didn't think you two would be able to separete enough for you to get here." He teased. "Oh f**k off." I said.

"Anyways." Tia said interrupting us. "We asked you here to ask you to go on a mission." She told us.

"A mission?" I asked, growing excited.

"Yes." Tia said. "We thought about the offer you gave us at breakfast Bianca. After seeing the Fae Queen earlier we decided to send out a team. You two, your mates, and Simon. He is a friend of ours. A close friend that we trust dearly. He's also a Demon. He will be the captain." She told us.

"He's a Demon?" Bou asked.

I was curious as well.

Tia nodded.

"Yeah. Not a s*x Demon like the two of you. In all honesty I'm not too sure what exactly he is." She admitted.

"And you trust him?" I asked confused.

Tia nodded again.

"He has proven himself on several occasions. He is loyal to the Morningstar family." She said.

"He's loyal to you." Max grumbled behind her.

Tia rolled her eyes.

"Simon is a flirt." She told us then her eyes settled on Bou. "He and Acaisia get along very well because of that fact." She told him.

I turned to my twin to see his eyes darken slightly.

"Bou will be on his best behavior." I assured her.

"Good." Tia said. "I didn't know that you two were mated to my sisters until after I already decided this. I'm a bit worried about you all being... distracted. Please be observant of your surroundings. Take this mission seriously. It's dangerous. Don't explode, or cause too much trouble. The Fae barely trust us as it is. We need this mission to go well." She told us.

"We promise that we won't let you down." I told her.

Tia gave me a small smile.

"Good. Though, it would help tremendously if you all were marked." She said.

"I'm working on it." Bou murmured.

I stayed silent. I'm still feeling weird about the whole thing. I still wasn't convinced that we won't have a third mate, and that's something I do not want.

Tia's smile grew slightly.

"It'll happen eventually Bou. Give her time. Acaisia might be fighting the bond now, but she'll come around." She told him.

Bou blew out a breath.

"I hope so." He said honestly.

Then Tia turned her eyes on me.

"Ahkari didn't tell any of us that she is gay, but I don't think any of us will really be surprised. I hope things are going well between the two of you. She's been... very confused while waiting for you." She told me.

I understand what she means a little better now. While most teenagers or young adults get to experiment to figure out their sexuality, Ahkari was raised to save herself for her mate. I know that she ended up acting on those feelings once before, but I can't imagine how confusing it was for her.

"Uhm, thank you. Things have been..." I trailed off unsure of what to say. "Uhm, alright I guess. It's only been a day." I said.

Tia smiled, but Max was the one to speak.

"Yeah well, the bond works fast." He said making Tia smirk.

"You guys leave in the morning. Go pack. You'll be gone for a week. Stay close to the twins. I don't say that because your mates or you aren't strong, but they can protect you, and get you all out of there should anything go wrong." She told us.

"Oh I'll stay close to Acaisia." Bou said standing to his feet.

I stood up as well, rolling my eyes.

"Got it." I told her.

Bou and I walked out of the office. He paused outside the door. His body is facing the direction of our room, but he's staring at the exit. A look of hesitation plastered on his face. I sighed.

"Let's go get some food." I told him as I steered him in the direction of the kitchen.

It's now late in the evening. Bou and I haven't eaten real food since breakfast. Or, at least I haven't, and I am starving.

A few kids are still hanging around but not as many anymore. The kitchen is nearly empty other than Belle, Robby, and Bruce. I smiled brightly at them as we entered.

"Hey guys." I greeted.

"Hey." Robby smiled up at us.

"Hey, are you guys hungry? I was just about to make us something." Belle said.

I nodded enthusiastically.

"Starving." I told her.

"Why aren't you cooking at your place?" Bou asked.

Belle's eyes moved back to what she was doing while she answered Bou.

"Kitchen here is much bigger. I was cooking for the three of us and Max and Tia, so, ya know, much more room." She said.

We made small talk while Belle cooked. Apparently she was damn near amazing.

We told them about being assigned to the mission. Bruce is very proud of us, he thought this would be a great way to get more allies. Robby is extremely worried, but with this I didn't blame him.

My own nerves were a wreck. We were all there to hear about what happened. And we were there when the twins came back covered in blood.

Still, I was excited to be going out into the field again. Not to mention that I get to do it with my mate.

After we ate Belle and Robby went home. Bruce had some more buisness to discuss with Tia so he took them their dinner. I turned to my twin after cleaning up our plates. Bou stood up with a smile spread across his face. "I am going to go wait in my room for my mate." He told me.

I raised a brow at him.

"Acaisia is going to meet you in your room?" I asked.

Honestly, I had doubts that she would seek out Bou. My twin smirked at me.

"Oh, she will. Eventually." He said making me giggle.

After Bou left I washed our dishes, and went to my room as well. I packed for the mission in the morning, double checking that I had everything I needed.

After that I plopped down on my bed, and sighed.

What should I do? My stomach is in knots over tomorrow. The anxiety getting to me.

For the next couple of hours I shower, again, cleaned up my room, inspected my face, tried new things with my hair. Nothing was making this twisting in my gut go away.

Earlier when I was feeling upset, the moment I saw Ahkari my mood shifted. She calmed me, something I hear that mates are able to do for each other.

Should I go see her?

Peeking out my window I see the manison. I see her bedroom window from here, the light is on. Deciding maybe I should ask first I pulled out my phone. Pulling up her contact, and smiling at the photo, I started to type out a message.

Me: Hey it's Bianca, are you awake?

Her reply was almost instant.

Ahkari: Yeah, are you okay? How'd the meeting go?

Me: You could have told me I would be going out on a mission with you.. I'm excited. And extremely nervous.

Ahkari: I wanted it to be a surprise (: Don't be nervous. You're strong and we will all protect each other.

I bit my bottom lip.

Me: I just wish the nervousness would go away... Do you think maybe I can come over? You make me calm.. Ahkari: Yes. I would love for you to come over. You can come right in and up to my bedroom. (:

Me: On my way (:
