I wasn't too happy about Ahkari outting my mateship like that. Just because she was happy about finding hers doesn't mean I am. Although, I was starting to think that was a lie.

Bou is unbelievably sweet. Too sweet. Too perfect. The more I denied him, the more perfect he got. He might push me slightly but he also knows how to back off.

It didn't help that Selma was encouraging all of my doubts about trusting him. Especially after he declared his feeding was for her. Though, I had to admit that I was leaning towards her side of things.

Selma told me that she felt the bond much stronger with Bou than she ever did with our first mate. I had to agree with her too.

Bou's eyes alone ignited my entire body. Not only did he make me horny beyond belief but he made me feel safe. Something that was weird to me.

My first mate didn't make me feel safe. Not that I ever didn't feel safe I guess. It was a strange feeling. I'm one of the most powerful beings on the planet, and in all the realms. Feeling safe was never a thought to me when it came to a partner. With Bou it was different. The security he brought me with just his presence was hard to ignore. Still, I tried though.

Tia asked me to wait behind after she dismissed us. I wasn't thrilled about Bou and Bianca coming with us on this mission.

What if they get hurt?

The thought alone was bringing me near panic mode. I'd have to stay close to Bou to make sure he's safe. I'm sure he wouldn't mind that though.

"You met your second chance mate." Tia said wasting no time.

I nodded.

"Unfortunately." I mumbled.

Tia sighed.

"You should give him a chance. He's Max's brother. He can't be that bad." She told me.

I scoffed.

"After everything Max put you through, I'm just supposed to let go based on Max?" I asked her incredulously. "Yeah right." I said.

"Max and I were different. He didn't even know we were mates or who I was. Bou obviously knows." She said. When I didn't say anything Tia decided to get nosey. "How have things been going with you two so far?" She asked.

I shrugged, trying to ignore the fact that I was still wearing his c*m on my thighs.

"He's been up my a*s all day." I said.

Tia smiled.

"Explains what Azai and I walked in on earlier." She said amused.

I rolled my eyes.

"Give him a chance Acaisia. He isn't your first mate. If you think he is, just mark him. He says he wants to be with you, put him to the test."

My mouth dropped open.

"And what if he turned out to be a f*****g a*****e? Then I'm stuck with him for life. And we don't die!" I ranted.

Tia smiled.

"I'm sure you'll dish out your fair share if he turned out to be that way." She said, then sighed. "You deserve to be happy Acaisia. The Moon Goddess obviously agrees. I know you took the chance on your first mate, but... take this chance too. I already like him, and I don't think that it is a coincidence that your twins are mated to each other either." She said.

"Just think about what I said. Now go on and prepare for tomorrow." Tia finished.

I stood up.

"I can't believe you're doing this." I mumbled more to myself as I walked out.

Max was waiting outside the door, but my twin was gone. The stupid blonde haired man smirked down at me. I glared back at him crossing my arms.

"So.. You and Bou huh?" He asked wiggling his eyebrows.

I stuck my nose in the air.

"There is not a 'you and Bou." I said.

"Yeah, you keep telling yourself that." He said.

I stuck my tongue out at him, and walked back home. Once I arrived in the house our nanny was there preparing dinner for my younger siblings. Apparently, it was about done because they were all sitting at the table. All except for Azai. Amory was chatting away about some trouble her and Lucy started today. I couldn't help but laugh. All Mo needed was a friend and she broke right out of her shell. Do you know how heart breaking it is to see a five year old depressed? Alessio was listening to his little sister intently. Those two were as thick as thives. The four year difference didn't bother them in the slightest.

Axton actually looked happy for the first time ever. Usually he was sporting a scowl and barely talked. Today he looks different. I wonder what happened.

Atreus was whispering something to his twin, Akeehla. She snorted making milk come out her nose. The table burst out in laughter. All except Ares anyway.

Ares is the grumpiest one out of all of us. I don't know what bug crawled up his a*s but he's been that way since he was born. The only one that could ever talk sense into him was Aureaila. We all missed her dearly. "Acaisia, will you be having dinner with us?" Alessio asked after he noticed me.

I nodded, and pulled out a chair.

"Well, how can I say no when the food smells so good?" I said.

It has been months since I've had dinner with my family. In all honesty I was usually out doing heathen s**t. I don't usually eat unless Ahkari does. An after affect from being rejected.

As much as I hated to admit it, the rejection left scars. I was one minor inconvenience away from being fully depressed. I didn't eat a lot, or sleep a lot. But I have been feeling different today.

That's Bou's fault, I was fully aware of that fact. One really good thing about finding him is that he's opening my heart again. As much as I hated to admit it to myself, the world was looking brighter since I met Bou. I'd never tell him that though. Dinner lasted almost two hours. Eventually Ahkari joined us. We spent the time catching up. Obviously Ahkari and I were not allowed to disclose our missions but we enjoyed listening to what was going on in our siblings lives.

A little while later everyone retired to their rooms. I followed Ahkari upstairs to her room. She had a huge grin plastered on her face since she got home.

"Have a nice chat with your mate?" I asked a bit bitter.

Ahkari rolled her eyes at me.

"Don't be mad because I told Tia and Max about your mate." She teased.

"I couldn't care less." I lied.

Ahkari raised a brow at me.

"Oh really?" She called my bluff.

Then she got up close to me, and sniffed before make a disgusted face.

"Why do you smell like that?" She asked.

"Like what?" I asked back.

"Like... Bou and s*x. Like his arousal is plastered on you or something." She said.

My face heated. I stuttered over my words before clearly my throat.

"I don't know what you mean." I lied.

f**k. I didn't know that anyone would be able to smell Bou's semen on me. No seemed to notice at dinner.

My twin looked me up and down before shaking her head.

"I don't want to know anyways you freak." She teased.

"Speaking of freaks..." I trailed off. "How'd the swimming hole go?" I asked her.

Ahkari smiled shyly. She bit her lip as she recalled her time with her mate. I've never seen my twin look so happy before.

Sage says things are going really well, but Bianca is skiddish. Selma told me.

Skiddish? I asked.

Selma nodded her head.

Yeah. Sage thinks there is something going on that she isn't telling Ahkari.

Hmmm. I wonder what. I replied.

"It went really well. I don't know how you can keep your hands off of Bou and treat him the way you do." She said making me scoff.

"Maybe Bou likes my attitude." I countered.

My twin turned to smirk at me.

"I bet he does." She said. "I took her to teach the self defense class with me today."

"Oh really? How'd that go? She's a fighter right? I bet she loved it." I rushed out.

Ahkari laughed.

"Oh she's a fighter alright. Not good enough to land a blow on me, but that's only because I'm fast. She got through to Axton though." My twin told me.

My eyes went wide.

"Really?" I asked.

All of us tried to talk to Axton about taking this sparing thing seriously. He just thought he was too strong and didn't understand the need to go. In his eyes, he knew how to fight and he can't be killed, so what was the point. We tried to tell him over and over how it was important for everyone involved and how you could always learn something. It never worked though.

Ahkari nodded to me.

"For the first time ever, he took things seriously. Got knocked on his a*s too." She said smugly.

"Ohhhh, I would have paid to see that." I said making Ahkari laugh.

"Yeah. After that though Karla outted us and now Axton knows I met my mate. I did ask him to keep it quiet but then I called Dad." My eyebrows shot up. "Don't worry. I didn't say anything about you and they didn't answer." I nodded.

"Good. Who knows if I'll be keeping my mate anyways." Even though I said I didn't believe it.

Selma whined in my head and honestly the words left a bad taste in my mouth. But I had to be strong. Just in case he leaves me.

Ahkari gave me a stern look.

"He isn't like your first mate Acaisia." She said softly.

Ahkari's words took a few seconds for me to register. My eyes went wide.

"You knew?" I asked.

Ahkari nodded.

"I, uhm, overheard him talking to a few people that night about what he did. Took all of my self control to not tear him to shreds. Sage was completely on bored with eating him. Considering who he is... We held back. I thought that you would tell me but..." She trailed off and I didn't miss the hurt in her eyes.

Guilt spread through me.

"I didn't want you to worry. I didn't want anyone going after him..." I told her.

"I understand Cas. It was your own s**t to work through. I knew you knew that I was always here for you." She said. I smiled at my twin. "Go pack before you don't and I end up packing for you." She grumbled at me.

I laughed. "Okay okay."

***************

After I was packed I walked to the long window. I looked at the school to see a few of the older kids lingering around. No Bou in sight.

Let's go see him. Selma encouraged me.

I bit my bottom lip.

He did say I couldn't clean his c*m from me until I seen him again. I said giving myself an excuse.

Selma nodded her wolf head.

He did say that. And we have to be clean. If Ahkari can smell him than Simon will notice too. And he will never let us live it down. Plus, he'll say something in front of everyone. She pushed. You're right, he would definitely do that. I said.

With my mind made up I teleported into his room. Usually we couldn't teleport to a place we'd never been, and I'd not even in his room before. Because Bou is my mate all I had to do was think of him and here I was. Bou is asleep in his bed, snoring softly. Crawling under his blankets I cuddled up to him.

That's when I noticed he was completely naked, and I knew exactly what I was going to do.
