Larissa would never allow Aster to be in such a dangerous situation. Once again, Wendy fell silent. There was a long pause before she asked, "What if Kevan pursues you?" Larissa replied firmly, "That's impossible!"

Wendy became angry. "Fine! I won't give you advice anymore. Do as you wish!" She gritted her teeth and ended the video call abruptly.

Larissa had a restless night, likely influenced by Wendy's words. She had a long dream. In that dream, Kevan embraced Ruby and stood before her. The two of them were still as sweet and affectionate as before, completely ignoring her presence. Larissa watched from a distance with her heart aching.

All of a sudden, two cats appeared in Ruby's arms. They were Muffin and Cookie, the ones she had raised. She'd left in a hurry previously and entrusted the cats to a pet shop. She left Violet's contact information with the pet shop, but she wasn't sure if Violet had ever brought them back home.

"Muffin! Cookie!" she called out with joy.

However, the two cats seemed oblivious. They cuddled on Ruby's shoulder, sticking out their pink tongues and affectionately licking Ruby's face. Ruby affectionately caressed their soft fur, her face filled with joy. That smile filled Larissa with bitter envy, as if she had just swallowed something bad.

The scene shifted, and the cats vanished. Instead, a chubby little girl appeared, and it was Bethany. Bethany held Ruby and Kevan's hands, persistently calling them "Mommy" and "Daddy". Keven lowered his head, looking at Bethany with a gentle expression.

The warm scene with the three of them was quickly shattered by an unexpected intruder. Out of nowhere, Aster dashed over and hugged Kevan's leg, glancing up, and exclaimed, "Daddy!" Kevan caressed his head and responded softly, "Yeah?"

At that moment, Bethany started crying. She cried loudly and in a heart-wrenching manner. "You're my daddy! Not Aster's!" She tugged at Kevan's shirt hem, pressing herself against him. "He is my daddy!" Aster retorted without backing down.

Kevan appeared troubled as he held both children. He soothed them, saying, "Stop fighting. I'm the dad to both of you." There was a hint of helplessness in his tone. Ruby's face changed drastically, as her expression became one of raging jealousy.

The scene shifted once again. This time, they were in a hotel guest room. Ruby was fiercely kicking and hitting Aster, while Kevan watched coldly from the side, and Bethany clapped and cheered. Larissa rushed forward and wanted to intervene, but Kevan stopped her.

He told her with a serious expression, "This is the price you and your son have to pay for trying to take me away from Bethany and Ruby."
