"I'll do it," Chaz said, taking half of the rings and flying up quickly afterwards.

"Great! That ugly man has finally gone, huh!" Laura said as she grinned from ear to ear. Chaz was starting to get on Laura's nerves.

"Darren, let's go together. I don't want to be left all alone,” she said in a soft voice. Every time she had the chance, she would intentionally bump into Darren's shoulder. It was quite obvious that she was very much interested in him.

Darren sighed helplessly, and could do nothing but let her be.

"Stop, Laura, listen to me," Darren interrupted Laura,

"What do you want to say? Come on... Kiss me before that annoying Chaz comes back.” Cradling his cheek in her hand, Laura closed her eyes and leaned in closer to Darren.

"Laura, you misunderstood me. I was talking about someone else. My wife... Elsa.” Darren coughed awkwardly and gently pushed her away.

Standing rooted to the spot, Laura felt her heart was stung. Her face grew redder and hotter than before.

It was truly an embarrassing moment for Laura. She had fully opened up to Darren just to be painfully mistaken. Her eyes were starting to get hot with tears, but she swallowed her pain and tried to keep the atmosphere light.

Laura said hurriedly to cover up her embarrassment.
