"It’s almost time for the party, I have to go now." I uttered as I broke the hug and began to walk away,

Maybe all I wanted at the moment was an alone time where I could calm my nerves down after being reminded of Jason once again AMELIA:

I didn’t utter a word to Scarlett but walked away and headed back to the table,

"What’s wrong with Dexter?" Clara questioned and my gaze darted once again to the exit Dexter had walked through,

"I have no idea. I think something’s bothering him and I want to help him, but..."

"He doesn’t want you to?" Clara Interjected and as I stared at her, I nodded my head in response,

She touched my shoulder and smiled at me, "That’s how Dexter is, Amelia. No one reaches him just with one trial. If you’re going to be living with him for the rest of your life, then reach out to me no matter how impossible it is," Clara uttered and I let out a deep breath, Here, this is another chance. I was going to give this to Dexter, but I think you should instead." She uttered and handed me Dexter’s phone. I rose to my feet and began heading towards the exit that Dexter had passed through, but once I got to the corridor, there was no sight of Dexter anywhere,

I continued walking further, until I heard Scarlett’s voice,

Since it was a long corridor, I could hear the echoes of Scarlett’s voice clearly,

I halted and stood at a corner where I could see her clearly until I heard Dexter’s voice,

"What do you want to tell me, Scarlett?"

He questioned and I arched my brows,

Scarlett was silent for a few seconds and just when I made the decision to step out from where I was, I heard her voice,

"I like you, Dexter, no, I think I’m in love with you."
