"I’ll do everything just as you instructed sir." She uttered and with a smile I rose to my feet,

"Good. Then your secret is safe with me." I responded and began walking out of the office. As soon as I got out, my phone began ringing and I answered the call once I saw it was Daniel calling,

"What’s wrong?"

"I checked the files of the women that had given birth during the day of Amelia’s birth and I found something Alpha." Daniel uttered, and I immediately brought the phone down from my ear,

Gently, I responded,

"Give me a minute." I uttered and began to walk towards the exit of the hospital where I knew Amelia would be unable to hear even by mistake,

"What did you find out? I questioned as I placed the call close to my ear again, leaning on my car,

"It seemed there was a young lady who gave birth in a hospital close to the outskirts of the white crystal pack, but I could only find one file about her and nothing more. There was absolutely nothing about the baby. Strangely, she was the only lady that left the hospital without her baby after discharge."

"Did you get her name?"

"Caroline Hailey."

"There was nothing in her file, just an old photo I could use to track her."

I wrecked my fingers into my hair in frustration,

"There must be a reason why she left the hospital without the baby. Amelia believes she was abandoned by her mother, but maybe that might not be the case. Use every damn resource we’ve got to find this lady, Daniel. Find her no matter what it takes." I instructed,

"Yes Alpha." He responded and I ended the call the moment my eyes caught hold of Amelia stepping out of the hospital.

As she approached me, I was lost in staring at her. She was indeed really pretty but I wasn’t going to admit it to myself so easily,

What if her mother was dead? This thought ravaged my mind and I couldn’t help but imagine how heartbroken she would be when that becomes the case,

"Says me!" I responded and stepped into the car. Before Amelia could even take a step further, I shut the door,

"See you at home wifey. I guess those long legs of yours would begin to serve its purpose now." I uttered and with a smirk, winding up the glass,
