AMELIA:

3 Days later, I was finally able to see Dexter, but sa usual, Scarlett still wasn’t willing to let go of him.

She was practically everywhere he was, and she still always made him sleep in her room at night,

As soon as breakfast was ready, I was called by a maid, and just when I got ready to step out of the room, the door opened again and Dexter stepped in,

With my heart skipping beats, our eyes locked for a few more seconds before I decided not to look again,

I didn’t utter a word and began walking. As I walked past Dexter, he didn’t hold me back or utter a word to me. Even though it was really painful, I decided not to think about it and just keep living my life.

As I got downstairs, no one was seated in the dining except Scarlett. I halted, pondering on whether to go back or not, but I finally chose to stay,

"Even while he’s away from me, he still can’t stand being with you. I guess your mate hates you that much." Scarlett uttered with a chuckle, but I scoffed out loud without uttering a word,

"Let’s see if you can stand being away for an entire week. I bet your so jealous Dexter’s. willing to leave every damn thing just for me. That’s what true love is all about, and you’re never going to know what that feels like." She uttered and under the table, I clenched my fingers into fist

I fucking hated that it was just both of us here as I wanted to rip out her tongue and feed her to eat it,

"Begging for scraps of attention isn’t true love, Sasha, get that into your fucking brain. No matter what, it would always be you begging for attention because it’s what suits you better." I responded, and watched as she picked up a fork from the table,

"It’s Scarlett!" She half yelled at me, but I stuck out my tongue,

"Oh, my bad. I’ll call you whatever I want." I responded and shot back her deathly gaze at me as I continued,

"Unlike me, I don’t beg for attention. Dexter comes to me even without asking, but it’s never going to be the same for you. No matter what you do, he’ll always see you as nothing more than a little whiny sister who can’t do anything for herself without him around. Truth be told, that’s exactly what you ar....."

My words were interjected when she raised a knife at me, and I held her hand, pushing her aside in a swift second to protect myself,

I watched as she rose to her feet like a zombie freak, and I immediately took a few steps backward as I was certain she would use the knife on me if I moved any closer to her,

She was crazy! Scarlett was fucking crazy and her eyes had changed to golden yellow which made me realize that her wolf was present, and she was pissed at me too,

There was no doubt, her wolf was way stronger than mine,

"I’m going to fucking kill you, witch!" She yelled and just as she tried to pounce on me, Dexter’s intimidating Alpha voice was heard, and it immediately made Scarlett’s wolf vanish in fear, while she began to cry,
