Out of respect, Caleb and I dressed formally to greet our guests before we proceeded to the Thorn Edge Pack’s reception room.

Upon our arrival, we found the Alphas already seated and waiting.

Their faces shifted, and they stood up as soon as they saw us.

Among them, Isaac, the leader of the Fen Pack, seemed particularly troubled.

He then fixed a harsh glare on me, his teeth clenched, and said, “And these vampires, they emerged from that rift!”
