“Debra, this is Zoe Smith who embraced you.

She serves as a police officer and she’s quite the combatant.

He then gestured towards his companion, a gentle look in his eyes.

“and this is Sally, my wife.

They both hail from Roz Town, and consider you among their closest friends.

I could only manage a perplexed nod in response.

Carlos continued, “There are others in our circle as well, dealing with their own matters or living too

far to visit this evening.

I’ll make sure you meet them another time.

I acknowledged this with a simple, “I understand.

She’s likely in her room, asleep.
