There are too many rogues.

I can’t help but look around but Brooke is standing by me “You need to go inside” I say but she shakes her head “No” she mouths.

“Brooke it’s not……” I started to say but her eyes close but when she opened them up “Mate, as much as we might want to k**s or argue with you right now, we will be alright” she said and smiles back at me. “Brooke and I have this mate.”

I can’t help but smile. But did she say k**s?

Suddenly there is a loud growl coming from the centre of the rogues. I look over my shoulder to see the ugliest looking wolf I have ever seen. I turned away from Brooke, but I noticed every single ambled body whether in human or wolves are fighting the rogues as they came.

“That’s the one that tried to kill Brooke,” says Willow suddenly; I look over my shoulder to see her.

Willow has ignited Brooke’s hands with fire, she wants action.

I can’t help but feel proud of our mate.

Asher is itching to get out and tear rogues apart. I turn back around letting out the loudest roar and start to run towards the ugly looking wolf.

I charge straight towards any rogues that come my way, taking them to clean out with my wolf claws coming through, ripping out throats and killing every single rogue that gets in my path. I can see rogues’ surrounding Beta Logan, Shane and Rex; one of them is trying to attack Rex from behind. I run faster and kick the rogue who falls right into Beta Logan wolf’s mouth as I use the rest of the rogue’s body to leverage myself to jump on his back and shift midair into Asher.

I land with a thud in front of Rex who is covered in b***d but looks pissed off. He shifts into his wolf. More rogues come but we rip every single rogue apart as they come toward us.

Out of the corner of my eye, I can see a wolf stalking nearer to us, Asher lets a loud growl and runs straight for the wolf, Damien. He tries to take me out, but he’s weak. He has been attacked by loads of our warriors. There are loads going on but I need to kill him, I want to get rid of everything that tortured or affects Brooke.

Asher aims for his neck but he uses his hind legs to kick out and they catch me straight in the side but Asher skids and charges back at him. His wolf uses his canines and catches onto our shoulder, we roar but we fight back and flip him over us and he flies straight into a few more rogues.

But the black wolf shakes himself off starts charging straight for us. Still, we dodge but latch onto his neck as we use all of our strength to dig in and connect but all we hear is the sound of ripping as Asher pulls Damien’s throat away from his body, throwing it away and he lets out the biggest roar which causes us to use our alpha aura. I can see loads more rogues coming towards me, attacking pack members at every possible angle. There are too many of them, everyone is surrounded and there is no way of getting out of this alive.

They drive all warriors and pack members into different circles, they have us surrounded. We are like sitting ducks, every wolf, man and woman are growling snarling loud. Any rogue that comes close to us we rip them apart.

Alpha Josh and Todd are in a circle with Jackson and my father but another circle has formed which has Danica who has been using a silver blade in human form to kill the rogues, Jo, Daisy and Adonis.

I can’t see Brooke anywhere.

But all of a sudden there comes a bright light from the corner of my eye, as I turn it is Brooke who is covered in flames.

“BROOKE IS SHIFTING” shouts Daisy through the mind link.

Every single wolf that is on the battlefield has stopped whatever they are doing as the fire ignites around, engulfing her. The fire is hot as hell and I wouldn’t be surprised if it came from hell itself.

All of the sudden the huge flame takes hold and lifts Brooke up and with one huge flap, Willow is here.

Willow is in her true form.

Her whole body is orange but the fire that has come out of her tail and around her is huge.

She lets out a piercing screech which makes all the rogues shudder and some pack members but every single one here is in complete awe of the magnificent sight before us.

But suddenly there was a loud roar coming from behind me.

I turn and all I can see is something shiny out of the corner of my eye.

That stupid rogue I will…….I stop in my tracks as I watch the magnificent creature before I appear.

I want her, if I can’t have her then no one will.

I just arrived when Damien shouted that they were attacking the pack now.

All our followers were charging at them, we had over three thousand who wanted b***d from this pack.

They will crumble right before me, I will rule over this land as I was meant to.

“Boss, we found what you were looking for,” says one of the men that came with me.

I turn to look at him and he hands me the sword which is laced with potion and wolfsbane.

I smirk.

Everyone thinks I want to kill that girl; I don’t want to do that. Well not yet at least. I will make her submit to my whim and I will have her destroy every pack known to man with her power, once I have everything and more. I might even make her my mate.

The sword I am holding is for one person in particular.

I thought I trained him well in the charge against humans but that pathetic alpha banished me. I am going to kill his precious son and make every single one of those pathetic members beg for mercy and even make my prize pet watch her beloved mate die right in front of her.

I will have what I want.

I walk into the forest following all my followers. They have all the pack members surrounded.

I can’t help but smile.

I notice my pray but suddenly the firebird screeches loud in the sky and swoops down and takes one load of rogues that have circled some pack members but the flame ignites the rogues who roar out in pain but suddenly they turn to ash right before my very eyes.

I need to be quick.

I need to kill Hudson.

I charge straight towards him as my followers let me through.
