I'm smiling as I leave the room. They were shocked at how I handled the situation. Even, I'm still surprised where the strength came from to talk to the senator like that. With me on the table, they have agreed to let the baby stay in the city.

I only let out a breath when I get into step out of the elevator to the first floor. The car is already waiting for us at the exit.

"Wow, that was amazing," Enol beams. Jasper agrees but for some reason no words leave my mouth. I'm still in shock I guess.

"Yes, princess. You did a very good job. Rayan will be proud as we are," Jasper adds. I don't know how to answer him for his kind words

My heart is overwhelmed with happiness that they are not sending the baby at that awful supernatural academy.

I let out a bloody scream in excitement " yes!"

Both the princes are smiling at me. Instead of goin straight at the mall.

"Where are we going?" They ask.

"To shop for the baby!" I announce happily now that all my anxiety has completely gone.

Enol and I goggle everything we need for the baby. Jasper is just looking around with a bored expression on his face while driving the cart.

We go store by store shopping, a get a baby monitor, Baby clothes and so many things. Everything we take we left, Enol says they will deliver everything at the castle.

I even picked out clothes for him and creams.

After three hours, the boys are complaining of hunger while I'm so excited and energetic. We have gotten everything and more. I can't wait to arrange his closet and new room. "Damn, we didn't get a crib," I say as we exit

Jasper looks like he's about to cry at this point but I still drag him to one of the stores on the third floor.

I ask the assistant which one is best, they all look very neat and stable.

"What about this one?" I point at the one that catches my eye.

The salesman smiles and start to explain

"This crib is crafted completely from nontoxic clear acrylic. The unique piece is also environmentally-friendly - the whole thing can be recycled when baby gets too big,"

He says. "And it's only $2000," he adds at last with a huge smile.

I like it so we take it. The boys were complaining about hunger so I suggested to have something at Starbucks but the princes refused, instead, Enol took us to a private restuarant in the city, the place is very nice and the food is delicious. I FaceTime Meredith, she said the baby was fussing a little but he's sleeping now.

"Why didn't you call me?" I ask. I'm beginning to worry now. Maybe he's crying and she just doesn't want to tell me.

"I knew you were at the bureau and didn't want to disturb you," she says.

"By the way, the decorators are done working on his new room," she informs me.

Earlier before leaving I asked Rhodes to ask people and fix his room, the room won't be far from my suite.

I was told that the man is an expert and will do an amazing job. I want the baby to have the best, I want him to have love, care and security.

We discuss a while longer but have to cut it short when I notice the siblings are looking at me.

"What?" I swallow. Jasper shakes his head and continues with his soup.

" Wow, you are really taking this seriously?"

I'm surprised that enol would say that. Did they think it's a joke.

I somehow take offense to that. I eat and later we leave. During my ride home I keep looking at the phone, I know what I need to know. Talk to Rayan but I'm hesitant. What if he doesn't want the baby as much as I do?

'he will, have you seen that kid?' Pisces says confidently. Speaking of which, he still needs a name.

We reach the castle. I thank the princes politely before going into the house. As soon as I step foot inside. I'm pulled into a searing kiss. I smile against Rayan's lips and wrap my arms around him into a tight hug. I didn't know he was coming today! "I miss you," I whisper. He kisses and inhales my hair

"As did I, my princess,"

We pull apart finally with a clearing of the throat. Jasper is watching.

"Hi, girlfriend!" He waves.

"Boyfriend," I smile. Rayan growls playfully at his beta.

The squeals of the baby snap our attention upstairs. I bite my lips anxiously. They are confused.

"Baby mamas showing up with babies," Darren is teasing him. Rayan growls and pulls me close to him.

"The only baby mama I plan to have is this beauty here,"

I'm flustered by Rayan's words and close my face with my hands. How can he be so sweet.

"Aaw. She's shy. How cute," Darren muses.

"Seriously though. Isn't that a baby?"

"It is," I answer timidly. He slowly pulls away from me and gives a confused look. Before I can utter a word, Meredith comes into the room with a smile. She gives me the baby. I kiss him and he is so excited to see me. He lays his head on my chest. "Um, a baby?" "Wanna hold him?" I ask look at the bundle of joy in my arms, he seems so calm

"No, I'm not good with kids, I've never even held one," Rayan says, I noticed he stepped away when I asked if he can hold the baby.

"This will be fun," jasper sighs. He seems to be enjoying this too much.

"Explain,"

"Let's sit,"

"Give the.. child back to their owner," he looks nervous. Oops.

Enol also walks in. He is smiling so much while eating an apple.

"That's it, she is the owner," he laughs. I glare at the youngest prince "Leave, please,"

He simply shakes his head

"Elaborate," Rayan looks scared and agitated now. I would laugh at his expression if it weren't a serious issue

"Can you guys excuse us, please?" I ask. They frown and leave the main room, leaving us three. I take a seat and put the baby on my lap. He's making baby sounds and his fingers are in my hair.

"So, while you were gone, I .. I.." I can't speak properly. Stop looking at me like that. I'm so nervous.

"What happened while I was away,"

"Look on my way back to work, I found this child in the woods, and took him home," I say very fast, leaving out how we were attacked by demons and they were looking for the baby. Rayan looks livid and gets up from his seat.

"You were attacked by what?!" I squint my eyes, did he hear my thoughts? I know mates can hear thoughts each other's thought or emotions once the bond is at its peak but it's too early!

"Did you hear my thoughts?" I ask softly, he nods a little bit unsure. He also looks perplexed.

"I think. But it's... Isn't it.. that's not the issue here. Why didn't you tell me you were attacked by demons and since when do people keep things from me?"

The baby in my arms start to fuss a little, is he sensing Rayan's anger?

Even Rayan is now looking at the baby.

"Please relax, I think he's sensing tension," he sits and look into my eyes. I brace myself and begins to tell him everything that happened, as I continue his facial expression softens and he comes next to me.

He caresses my cheek and ask.

"Are you okay? Gosh, I worry about you,"

"I am,"

We are silent. He's gaze on me is enough to make my body warm. I carefully hold his collar and connect his lips to mine. The kiss is gentle, his lips taste even better than I remember.

"I'm proud of you," he whispers, his eyes are closed and our foreheads are touching.

"Rayan, this baby and I are connected, he needs me that's why I found him.... He's my gift from the goddess," my voice is soft. He nods against my forehead. "I can't let him go, I want to raise,"

He pulls away and looks at me for a long time. I don't flinch. He gulps audibly and smiles.

"If that's what your heart really wants then do it," I smile. Wow that was fast. I inhale.

"Thank you, babe, thank you," I'm so excited. I give him the baby to hold but he's hesitant.

"Come on, Daddy," I encourage. We are laughing at how weird that word sounds.

"Mama?" Rayan chuckles. It's all good vibes here.

He finally holds the baby but he begins to cry. He gets up quickly and panic.

"Oh my no. He's crying he's crying. What should i do," he's pacing, and not balancing him well. I get up and teach him how to do it.

"Hold him closer to your chest and put your arm under his frame," I instruct. He nods and do as I say. The baby quietens immediately. His obesidan eyes are locked unto Rayan's. My prince smiles softly and kisses baby's forehead. I take this moment to snap a picture of them, it's so cute and I take some of all of us then save it on my wall paper. Perfect.

"What are you going to name him?" He asks. I've been playing around with a few names but non of them seem to stick.

"He's my gift from above, so the name should be something in those lines," I tell him

"Our gift now," he correct me. I nod and repeat. Rayan and I seat down and decide a name as Meredith takes away the baby.

"How about Isaac?" He suggest.

"I told you, it has to be meaningful, what does that have to do with what the baby is in our life,"

He crosses out that name.

"Um, Kendrick?"

"Are you trying to offend me Rayan?" I glare at him and he chuckles.

"How about Adiel?" I suggest. He scowls.

"I hate it for him. It will remind me of that pompous warlock," he says bitterly. I notice he doesn't like Yadiel very much

"Ahyan," Rayan suddenly whispers. I repeat the name softly and it sounds right and rhymes well Rayan.

"I like it, what does it mean?"

"I don't know, it just rhymes well with Rayan, that's why I picked it,"

"It means gift from the heaven,"

My heart skip a bit and I turn abruptly to the door. Alora is smiling at us, standing next to Yadiel. He nods in acknowledgement of us and we do the same.

She walks closer to us." Sister told me the good news! Congratulations!" She is beaming at us. I smile.

They only came to congratulate us even though Yadiel looks like he was forced.

"I think we should start training, your birthday is in less than a week," he reminds me. I was so busy with everything that I forgot all about it. I need to be stronger before my birthday so that It doesn't take much of my energy when I phase.

After discussing a while longer with Yadiel about the schedule, we have decided to start tomorrow at 5 am. He says it won't be tough but he has a sinister glint in his eyes that made me worry.

The two leave us, as they leave, Alora is giggling and holding yadiel's arms tightly. He pats her head. They are now talking about Disney land.

"Alora is very intelligent," I comment. Rayan nods.

"she's an intellect, amazing at book keeping, marketing, and memorizing anything. She worked at the company before she fell Ill," "how did it start?" I ask.

Alora has regression, it's a return to child behavior to avoid reality. It comes and goes.

"She lost her mate a few years ago and when the pain became to much that's when it kicked in. It's a defense mechanism of self preservation,"

Rayan explains, I nod in understanding. After a long silence he speaks.

"I wouldn't want you to end up broken if something bad was to ever happen to be, I want you to be-" I shut him up with a kiss, stopping him from saying anymore. I don't want to even imagine losing Rayan. I'd die.
