Lucy

Pov

Pain, my body is in pain as my bones continue to c***k. I feel like my body is on fire and I'm screaming. I feel voices in a distance trying to say something. 'Lucy, calm relax and listen to Rayan,' Pisces says in a calm voice.

Rayan is telling me to take a deep breath. Through my blurry eyes I catch a glimpse of him, he's worried and we are still in the clearing.

I take a calming breath and no matter the pain. I relinquish control of my body to Pisces

A few more minutes, I'm standing on four paws. I gasp but it comes out as a whimper.

A few people are clapping their hands, I look around, the Royal couple is in attendance, they look very proud. Yadiel is nodding with a smile as well "Wow, she's tall for a female," Enol muses

"She's the Queen. Lucy is no average wolf," Jasper boasts. He is smiling at me as well

My senses are heightened and I can feel Rexan closer. I feel hands in my fur and Rayan leans in, kissing my neck

"You're beautiful, my love," he breathes. The love and compliments that they are showing are overwhelming.

"Can she turn into a Dragon?" Enol sounds excited. Yadiel laughs.

"That will take years to happen especially without a guide," he says with a little disappointment to his tone.

"I thought you are all-knowing, can't you teach her?" Rayan hisses. Yadiel roll his eyes and move closer to the Prince

"I can teach her how to control fire but not how to shift into a dragon, with time she will," he explains. A pang of sadness goes through me and I wish my mom was here to teach me. As if sensing my emotions, Rayan kisses me and smiles "Want to go on a run with me?" He asks. I want to answer him but I don't know how to mind link, I don't think I can since I haven't been initiated in their pack. Pisces laughs

yes,' she says to Rayan through the link. I'm surprised. How did she do that?

"I want to run to!" Enol says, excited

"Let's leave Lucy to enjoy this with Rayan, baby," Queen Astrid says. His smile falters but nods.

Without a care for his clothes, Rayan shifts into his dark wolf, I'm taken back by how huge he is. He towers over me.

He licks my snouts with his tongue and runs. Pisces or me, run after him.

The run is exhilarating and I'm jumping over logs and trees. The thrill of having the wind in my fur is amazingly one of the best feelings in the world. Rayan and I are running side by side.

An hour later, we go back to the castle. I'm looking at the huge mansion in front of us.

I've mind linked someone to bring us clothes,' he says.

I lay on my belly and close my eyes. I'm so exhausted, Rayan sits next to me.

Soon, Kai appears with clothes in his hands.

I get on my paws.

'you know how to shift back?' my mate asks. Pisces does so, I pick up the clothes and go somewhere private to shift

I close my eyes and breath. My fur recedes and I see my legs when I open my eyes.

I walk over to Rayan and Kai

"You finally shifted, my lady!" Kai beams.

"Yes," I smile.

Rayan grabs my waist and pulls me closer to him

"You need to rest,"

We bid Kai goodnight as we head Into the house.

Rayan escorts me to my suite, he insists to come in and putting me to bed.

"I have to shower first," he nods and makes himself comfortable on my bed.

"Do you have a mini bar here?" He asks getting up.

No," I answer and close the door to the washroom. I take my time in the shower and my body feels relaxed.

I get out of the water and wear my black backless nightdress.

When I go back to my room, Rayan has a drink in his hand.

He gulps it down and approaches me. He kisses me deeply then looks into my eyes.

"You smell Intoxicatingly good, baby," he says again. He has mentioned that my scent has changed into something he loves but can't remember what. It's driving him crazy.

I embrace him, I feel safe and loved. He directs me to the bed. I sit at the edge and he does beside me.

"Are you alright?" He asks softly,

"I feel a little tired," I sigh and massage my neck. He entwines our fingers and brings them to his lips

"Good job today," I smile and peck his lips quickly.

"Thank you for being there. Rayan, thank you for everything,"

I back away as he gets on the bed, my mind and heart are in turmoil, what is he doing? We are so close to each other, our breath is mingling, and my eyes land on his soft-looking lips.

"Rayan," I murmur, his gaze is intense, making my body hot. He is leaning in closer and closer each second.

"Hmm," he whispers, he suddenly backs away very fast, I clutch my chest tighter, I think it will explode.

Rayan goes behind me and my body freeze, I feel his hands on my shoulders, rubbing them softly.

A soft sigh escapes me as he continues to massage me,

"It's just a massage," his voice is sultry, and I'm sure he can hear the pounding of my heart.

It's just a massage yet it feels so intimate and I'm shivering. I haven't felt so hot!

"Massage," I repeat like a robot. His touch on my body is so gentle and relaxing. A moan escapes me, making him stop.

I try to turn to twist my neck so that I should face him but he holds me firmly then continues.

I feel his lips on my shoulder and a tingling sensation rush through my whole body.

This massage is all but normal, my core is wet and I can feel Rayan's heart accelerate. I close my eyes.

His lips are on my skin, and I can't help the moans that are escaping my mouth.

My resolve is weakening against this man, I try to stop him but my voice comes out a moan so I give up. I abruptly turn to him and push him against the bed with my strength, I didn't even know I can do that. I hover over him. Prince Rayan has a smirk on his lips while one hand holds my waist. "Kiss me," he whispers. I crash my lips on him.

His hands are caressing my waist gently. I start kissing his neck and he groans in pleasure.

"Go, I won't be able to stop myself," I confess as I get off him quickly. Rayan is hesitant to leave and I can see his huge member was getting too excited as well.

He only nods, a small smile curved on his lips as he comes to kiss me.

He lays his head on mine

"Sleep well, my Lady," he whispers.

I slowly open my eyes and look at my room, the room is decorated nicely with balloons and flowers. How did I not hear them?

These people take birthdays seriously huh.

Firstly, the decorations are black and white.

Black flowers are spelling out my name on the wall directly to my bed. There are presents right next to it, all well wrapped.

I get out of bed to take a good look but my phone chimes and grab it to check the message. It's from Rayan.

Rayan: Come downstairs, please.

Lucy: Good morning to you too, my love.

Rayan: Sorry love. I'm excited. Morning my baby. Smiley emoji.

Lucy: Let me just change into something appropriate.

Rayan: No, now.

I scowl and look at my outfit. I'm wearing a black nightdress.

I shrug and wear my fluffy slippers before jogging out.

Just outside my room, I see petals of lavender and full bouquets made in my path, they smell so good, and more appear in my sight as I slowly descend. Just like my bedroom, there are so many decorations and massive amounts of balloons written my name other my new age.

'happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, I hear kids' voices sing as I walk. I'm literally on the verge of tears when I step on the last stair. A few kids from the hospital are singing, among them Brianna and Malcolm. They are all dressed smartly and a few sisters are standing in the corner.

Rayan is looking at me with a happy smile and carrying Ahyan who is squealing and playing with a heart-shaped balloon.

Jasper is the one to walk up to me, he is carrying a floral lavender cake, presented with candles and sparklers galore.

"Happy birthday, Princess," he says with a smile.

I close my eyes and make a wish before blowing out the candles.

They clap and someone brings me a fork. I taste the cake and it's delicious.

"Delicious," I murmur, having another bite.

"I made it," Jasper informs me. I smile and thank him.

"Happy birthday, my dear Lucy!" The Queen and Alora walk into the room.

Queen Astrid is glowing and looking gorgeous in a green Gucci dress while Alora looks like princess Belle in her yellow dress. She only waves and smiles at me before going to have some cake.

"Alora, we wouldn't want you gaining weight now, would we?" Queen Astrid narrows her gaze playfully.

"Can't help it," she says like a child and continues to eat.

I walk over to Rayan and Ahyan.

"Happy birthday, Lucy," My mate smiles. He grabs me by the waist and kisses me deeply. We get lost in our kiss until I feel tiny hands on my face.

"Mama," I laugh and look at my son.

"I didn't forget about you, my little Prince," I kiss his forehead.

I turn to the kids who are looking at me.

"Thank you all so much. That was beautiful,"

They run to me and hug me.

" Happy birthday, doctor Lavigne," They say in a chorus before going back in line. I'm told they came to wish me a blessed birthday and tour the place.

"Kids let's go have some cake," Arabella calls them. They nod and run excitedly.

"Now that you guys are done, can we give Lucy the presents!" The Queen cheers.

"Presents again? What about the ones in the room," I ask.

"We have more,"

I clear my throat and stand next to Rayan. His hand snake around my waist.

"Savannah!" The Queen calls. The lady bows and wishes me a happy birthday before giving me the queen's gift, it's a beautiful tiara that has brilliant-cut diamonds and is placed on a red small pillow. It's so beautiful. The king's mother gave it to the Queen for her birthday as well. It's a generational heirloom and now, she's giving it to me.

"Thank you," I hug the queen. She also gives me a few face care routines as I was complaining to her previously that I get a few pimples when I'm on my period. They are packaged well.

"They are organic," she informs me. They look natural, and I can tell the green liquid Is aloe Vera.

"Did you make these yourself?" I ask as I continue to look.

"Yes, took me some time but I finally finished and clinically approved too," I can't believe it, the fact that she did this on her own makes me feel loved and I appreciate her more. Enol gives me a gift as well, a set of headphones and a pair of high heels that I love.

We head to have breakfast, the Queen and Alora have left, leaving me with the brothers. As we eat, I notice Jasper is looking at his phone with a frown. I wonder what's keeping him busy. "What is it?" Rayan asks his brother.

Their eyes darken a little, indicating that they are mind linking. Rayan stiffens and suddenly grabs my hand.

I squint my eyebrows.

"Is everything alright?" I ask

He forces a light smile and continues to eat his eggs.

"Rayan-" I start but he only caresses my cheek and smiles.

"Just work babes," I nod and eat silently.

A few minutes later, Jasper stands up, followed by my prince, he kisses my hair and takes a long sniff of my scent before excusing themselves.

I'm staring at Enol while he pretends to not notice.

"I'm not allowed to say," he says and drinks his yogurt.

"Just tell me," I grill him until he sighs.

"Fine," I smile but instead of answering me, he runs out of the dining room and I follow suit. We are chasing each other around the house like kids. I notice I've got better speed than him so I catch him with ease.

He is panting while lying on the floor.

"You're agile and stronger than we thought you would," he confesses.

I sit next to him and cross my legs, looking at him seriously

"Come on, just tell me what's happening,"

He takes a deep breath and sits upright.

"Lucy, Demons have been spotted close to the city but we find most of them burned to Ash,"

A lot of things happened at once, while I'm still in shock, the door abruptly opens and my Aunty Bridget, Derek, and Naomi are by the door, looking exhausted and having visible cuts on their body. Somewhere close by, I hear a loud thud and a word, mate.
