The Alpha's Unwanted Mate -
The Alpha’s Unwanted Mate Chapter 9
It was in the late afternoon when Celeste decided it was time to cook, now that Zillon and Celia came down. Celeste was wearing her clothes from yesterday and Zillon was only in a shorts, no shirt, no shoes.
His six pack was on full display and even Celeste found it comforting to look, she glanced away.
“What are you doing down here?”
She almost jumped at the sound of the voice, it sounded so different than it did last night when he was speaking to Celia. “I…uh…I was going to cook.”
“Get out, Celia was just about to do that.”
Celeste abruptly turned to look at him. “But I—”
“Get out Celeste.”
Pain registered in her heart and just when tears were about to prick her eyes, Celia spoke up. “What are you doing Zillon? Is this how you treat my sister? We’ll cook together, nothing’s wrong with that.”
“But you sai—”
“It’s okay now, babe. I was just angry last night, you can go upstairs, when we’re finished, I’ll call you.”
Zillon nodded, leaning down to place a quick k**s on her lips. “Alright.”
He turned his back, walking his way straight through the kitchen door, doing the worse thing he could ever; leave Celeste with Celia.
“So how does it feel, sister?”
Celia’s words were whispered, not loud enough for Zillon to hear, but as for Celeste….
“I…I—”
“I’m sure you’re acquainted with the feeling, that feeling of coming second or rather coming close to nothing at all. How was your heat last night? At least someone as weak as you could endure it.”
“I’m not in the mood Celia, leave me alone.”
Celia laughed, patting her sister’s shoulder. “Why? Is it because Zillon didn’t f**k you last night? Or Is it because he was with me? I’m sure it had hurt like a b!tch. You poor thing, I pity you…why don’t you just give up, he doesn’t want you, he never wil—”
Celeste pivoted on her feet when tears blurred her eyes. She wouldn’t let Celia see her like this, not when she’s vulnerable, not when she’s weak. “I don’t care about what you have to say, I won’t give up…and I hope you’ve finally learned to cook. I was surprised when he told me you cooked better than I do, little does he know that it’s my food that you’ve been bringing him.”
And with that, she walked out of the room, ignoring her sisters call. She headed in the direction of the front door, preparing herself to go for a long run without disruptions.

Celeste didn’t return to Zillon’s house until she was burnt out. Get legs felt wobbly, even though she was in wolf. In such a state, it was painful to change back for omegas, but Celeste bared the pain and walked butt naked through the front.
She didn’t want anyone to see her, it was because of anger that she had transformed into a werewolf and not take into consideration that she’d need clothes right after.
Fool…
Celeste shook her head in mild disappointment, dedicated to herself while she crept up the creaky stairs. She could hear chatting in the kitchen which only meant Zillon and Celia were probably in there, giving her a good chance to escape embarrass—
“You’ve finally returned, in the kitchen.”
Celeste’s hand flew up to cover her breast, the other situated over her pubic area. “I…I…”
She cocked her head back, eyes greeting Zillon who stood by the kitchen door. “I…I’m—”
Zillon turned away with a seemingly angry huff, folding his arms across his chest. “Go, cover up the obscenity of your body.”
And Celeste needed to hear no more, she ran up the stairs, all the way to her room. Sure he had seen her naked twice, but it was under unavoidable situations. He was her mate, but he didn’t want her, which meant his eyes should never grace her body. He had slept with her sister, kissed her in front of her, he deserved nothing but severity from Celeste.
After doing exactly what Zillon said, Celeste came down in a jeans pants and a baggy shirt, an uncaring look on her face as she strode into the kitchen where the happy couple sat. “You called.”
She was talking to Zillon, but her eyes did not meet his.
“Your sister cooked us lunch…well she cooked me lunch and then decided to pity you.”
“Well she didn’t have to, because I don’t want any.”
Celeste turned her back, making her way straight back into his room. She would not choke on Celia’s rice, she would not eat it even if Zillon tried to force her to. She hated her and it seems she was getting to hate him too.
She could still feel the matebond —as strong as the boisterous wind outside— but now she could successfully ignore it. He had done enough to hurt her since she came. He disrespected her body, stepped on her pride, walked all over her heart and cheated right in front of her eyes.
He didn’t have to do her so dirty, he did not have to hurt her wolf so bad. He could’ve done it in a different place, not here, not anywhere where she could see, where she could hear.
He was just plain cruel, a bastard disguised as a s*x god. She didn’t even know why she had a crush on him. They’d never spoken, she could only view his beauty from afar.
She had no reason to like him, but maybe it was just on instincts. He was her mate, even though she was unaware of that a couple nights ago, her wolf was probably well aware.
Now though, she’d try to get rid of the love that existed in her heart, for what was the use of loving someone who would never love her back?
Unrequited love never ended without a broken heart…and in this case the one that would be broken was yours.
A/N// I pity her so much… do you?
