After our very short heartfelt conversation Cyrus abruptly came back, he too had that black sticky looking liquid on him, though he's were on his shirt. But I didn't even bother to question him on it.

Now we were all presently back in Jerusalem, Seker had suggested well more like commanded that we all go back there immediately saying it wasn't quite safe in New York for now. I was happy I didn't pack any luggage with me given that we kinda came to New York in an impromptus manner.

"So you're saying she was being controlled by that 'Demon'?" I made sure I said the word demon in quote.

We were all presently sitting in the living room of the basement talking about Rina, she still hasn't woken up. Randuff was also with us, apparently Arazela was already in bed being that it was way past midnight.

"Yes, apparently the demon left a mark on her but don't worry I've already removed it" answered Seker.

"Sorry what do you mean by a mark?" I asked quite curious for the answer.

"A mark is somewhat like a seal demons leave on the unfortunate beings they come in contact with, they use the seal to control their body and mind" Randuff explained.

Cyrus added "Apparently all demons can use that particular seal on a human being, though only the high class demons have the ability to make it stay permanently on the body of a human. And luckily for your friend that demon was a low leveled demon that's why it was able to be removed so easily" well that was a huge relief.

"Although I did find something strange in this whole situation" Seker suddenly said, a far away look in his eyes.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Like Randuff said the seal has the ability to control the body and mind, but for some reason in your friends case it was quite different, surprisingly her mind was still very much intact though the same couldn't be said for her body" "Is it that weird?" I asked.

"Beyond the boundaries of weird Amica mea, you could even use the word unorthodox. It happens extremely rarely so to speak among the supernatural creatures but in the case of humans it never happens, so your friends situation Intrigues me" Seker finished.

I must admit those were a lot of words to take it. They were talking about demons and seals as if they were discussing about the weather, well I mean I guess it was normal for them to talk about things like this considering who/what they were apparently, but for me it was going to have to take a lot of getting used to.

"She's always been quite special" I muttered with a smile on my face. I knew it, I was bloody right, I knew Rina would never actually do something like that, well not of her own free will, she was like a sister to me.

"Well I'm going to bed I'm pretty drained out from today" Cyrus stood up stretching his arms.

"Like you actually really did that much work brother" Randuff playfully scoffs. Cyrus went ahead to bring his tongue out, he was such a child, I can't still believe he was the actual god of war. He just seemed like a child in a man's body to me. "And also Cyrus, check on mom on your way to bed okay" as soon as that sentence left Seker's lips, immediately a dark look crossed all their faces. What in the hell was going on?

"Roger that Captain" Cyrus said trying to lighten the mood but it wasn't much help. Then he left.

"Right that's my cue, good night little one, Seker" not even bothering to walk Randuff used his powers to teleport himself out of the parlor, leaving only me and Seker now. For some reason this type of situation always seems to happen. "Ahem" I pretended to clear my throat to get Seker's attention.

"Yes Bethel?"

"So I've been wondering" I started.

"Wow that's a first" he snorted jokingly. I gave him a mean glare.

"I'm messing with you, I'm sorry please continue" giving a little smile he gestured.

"As I was saying, I've been wondering if you could tell me about your mother. Since that day you told me about her I just can't seem to get her out of my head" I truthfully said.

"Well I was going to tell you about it one day eventually, why not tell you now" he muttered to himself.
