"Amica mea"

I groaned out, twisted my body slightly on the bed before giving a low 'hmm' in response.

"Rise and shine Amica mea we are already in the middle of the day" I stood up immediately on hearing the angels words.

"What! Middle of the day?" I asked in disbelief.

"Yes" he chuckled with an amused smile.

"Just asking, but what time is it?" I asked rather skeptically.

"It's already passed noon" he answered dismissively like the late time didn't matter in the slightest.

"Shit I can't believe I slept that long" I muttered "But come to think of it, why didn't you wake me up earlier than this?" I was really curious to the answer. "You looked Soo peaceful as you slept, I just couldn't bring myself to disturb you" he cocked his head to the side and gave me a crooked smile.

"Oh" I said before my brain finally registered his words.

"Wait you watched me as I slept?" I said horror laced in my voice.

"Every single night" he lowered his voice to a whisper.

I stared at him oddly in disbelief.

Abruptly he burst out laughing uncontrollably, bending down over while holding his stomach in the process.

"Oh my goodness you should have seen your face Amica mea. Priceless would be the perfect word"

"Fuck you" I mumbled. This man really!

"I was just kidding Regiña meüx" he spoke seizing his laughing.

"Fuck you" I repeated.

"Such vulgar words escaping from such innocent looking lips" speaking lowly while softly biting his lips he said. I felt like he was teasing me. Nope, no, nada, never, I wasn't going to let what happened yesterday repeat itself. Though I thought that way my body betrayed me by allowing goosebumps to rise on the surface of my skin. So yes I was beyond turned on, bloody sue me.

"I'll be leaving now, freshen up and meet me in the kitchen, everyone is there, your Friend Rina has been asking non-stop for your whereabouts" opening the door quietly, with a teasing smirk endowing his face, he left. See I knew he was teasing me.

My heart skipped with joy as I heard that Rina was finally awake. Finally, it was about damn time.

On my way to the large basement kitchen I heard chattering coming from inside.

When I was much closer I heard a voice say.

"Are you a magician? because anytime I see you everything else disappears" the sight that greeted was quite baffling.

True to Sekers word's everyone was in the kitchen including Rina, but no that wasn't what baffled me. What surprised was that Cyrus was the one that said those insanely cringy word, and apparently it was to Rina, who was surprisingly laughing to it.

"That was incredibly weak I have a one much better than that" Rina sassed with a confident smile. What the hell was going on?

"Can I follow you home? Because my parents always told me to follow my dreams" she winked.

"Pft that one's too well known, how bout this one" Cyrus countered.

As all these were going on I haven't made my presence yet known. I actually want to see were things were going to go.

"Hey Cupid called, he told me to tell you that he wants my heart back" Cyrus also winked himself and fist bumped into the air "Boom and that's how you do it"

"Hmm I won't lie that was a pretty good one, you win" Rina chuckled.

Rina's words surprised me, I mean for her to admit defeat even if it was just a silly game meant a shit lot. Props to Cyrus for that.

Finally deciding it was time to make my presence known I proceeded to enter.
