Ms. Palmer couldn't help but soften when she saw Daniel's woebegone face, and with Kari standing there too, she sighed and let it go, "It's alright." Kari took Daniel back to the dinner table, concern in her voice, "Does it hurt?"

When Brittany returned, she was all smiles, leaving Kari puzzled at her high spirits.
Daniel, feeling spiteful, took a big bite of his BBQ rib and inwardly fumed.

Unaware of his meal having been tampered with, Isaac rejoined the dinner table as if nothing was amiss.

Kari, ever so oblivious, didn't catch onto Brittany's odd behavior.
After a hearty meal, Brittany dropped Kari off at the hotel, "Get some rest."

Back at home, Brittany found herself in the study with Yuri, discussing a new project.
Daniel, clutching his smartwatch like a treasure, sent Isaac a message.

After getting discharged, Isaac returned home to find Nathan waiting.
"Mr. Salter, are you alright?"
Nathan thought Isaac's chronic stomach issues had flared up again.
"I'm fine. Take a few days off." Isaac poured himself a glass of water, "Kari's in Craneville. Keep her company but keep it under wraps." "Will do."
Nathan, still worried, asked, "Do you need a doctor?"
"No, go talk to Daniel. Tell him to cut out the tricks!"
Nathan nodded, though still somewhat confused, "Alright."
Thanks to Daniel's laxatives, Isaac spent a couple of days recovering at home.
Daniel, sensing he might have crossed a line, didn't reach out again.
