I couldn't answer, all I could do was breathe. Later on, I turned my attention. I pretended to pick up the scattered items at the bottom of his desk.

'I came here Sir Drake to sign these papers," I promised and handed him the papers I had.

"Ann-"

"Drake, please... We're at work, be professional," I interrupted. He just stared at me and slowly turned his attention to the papers I had handed out. He walked back to his chair and took out a ballpen to sign the papers. I, on the other hand, picked up the remaining items that were scattered and arranged them back on his desk.

A few more seconds later he was also done signing and handed me back.

"Thank you, I'm coming out because I have a lot more to do," I said goodbye and pretended that he would have left suddenly to speak.

"I'm serious about what I said Anna, I will never stop until you love me too."

I stopped for a moment but immediately resumed walking and returned to my desk.

You don't have to do anything else Drake because I love you, all I care about is the result.

I went back to work and I didn't even notice the passage of time.

"Anna, let's have lunch." My attention turned to my back when Diego suddenly joined. He was with Elsa and Mitch and was ready to leave for lunch.

I got up and arranged my things. "Let's go," I replied and we walked out of the company together.

'Where are we going to have lunch today? Don't tell me about the expensive restaurant again, I have run out of money and I haven't been paid yet." Mitch said laughing. "Anywhere as long as it tastes good," Elsa asked.

"If only it could be there?" We turned our attention to Diego's restaurant. But I immediately noticed the familiar face.

Drake...

I'm not mistaken because that's him.

"Is that Sir Drake?" Elsa asked later.

"Where?" Mitch asked. Elsa pointed out her location so I was even more nervous.

"Yes, let's eat there too, the food looks good because Sir Drake won't eat there if the food isn't good."

Everyone agreed with Elsa. They started walking towards the restaurant.

"Wait..." I hesitated. They stared at me in astonishment. "Can't we just be with someone else?" I added. I saw the change in their facial expressions. 'Why? Is there a problem?"

"No, nothing but in case there are other good restaurants near here."

"What is it Anna, we're just here because the foods here look delicious," Elsa replied.

"Yes, come on." Diego and Mitch agree. Elsa came up next to me and led me into the restaurant. I could do nothing but follow them. I was uneasy when we entered. We immediately looked for a vacant table but the galaxy didn't seem to agree with me because only Drake's place was vacant.

For a few more seconds we both looked at each other, no expression on his face as I seemed to be poured cold water and statuesque where I am now.
