I clenched my fist the moment I remembered all that, I tried to forget that incident in my life as if my desire to take revenge on those groups came alive.

'I know the Tripos... They killed my mother," I promised and everyone was surprised. "I will never forget the group that murdered my mother," I added.

A lot of time passed and we decided to rest but I stayed awake because I was still not overcome by sleepiness. I'm still thinking about Marcus' condition because of what I did earlier.

I decided to walk around first, everyone was already asleep so they didn't notice the departure. I also brought my cell phone which is now in my pocket, I wanted to say hello to Anna. I don't want to bring my cell phone because it might interfere with our mission but I can't help but hear Anna's voice I want to say hello to her and how is she doing.

In the middle of the forest, there was no signal so I kept walking until I got to a big rock. I went up there to catch a signal and I was not disappointed because my cellphone already had a signal. I immediately called Anna's number, it rang for a while and she answered immediately.

"Drake..." When I heard her voice, it was as if I had lost the tiredness of the whole day, as if everything I was feeling now was lost because of her angelic voice.

"Hi, Anna I just want to know if you're okay there?"

"I'm okay, how about you? How are you?" There was concern in her voice.

"We're still traveling because we haven't completely seen the enemy's den," I explained.

"Is that so, go ahead and go to sleep I know you're tired, Drake. Thea and I are leaving because we are going to an event."

"I wish I was by your side right now so I could take you," I promised with a smile.

"There's no need, focus on your mission first so you can finish. You promised me you're coming back so always be careful."

"Be careful there too... I love you-"

"Anna! Let's go!" What I was about to say was interrupted when someone called her.

"Ahm... I have to end this call Drake, be careful." That's it and he ended the call. I took a deep breath while looking at my cellphone. "I love you, Anna..." I promised myself.

I was about to stand up but suddenly my cell phone rang. I immediately looked at it and saw a message from Anna.

'I love you too, I'll wait for you until you come back again.'

I stared at it for a moment and a smile gradually appeared on my lips and my chest started pounding like it was being hammered.

I smiled and walked back to Uncle Raso's place but unexpectedly I heard a growl from a distance. Marcus immediately came to my mind so instead of going back to the cave I decided to follow the growl I heard.
