The Billionaire's Forbidden Longing -
Chapter 123 The Background of Cameron
The moment Yasmin spotted Katya, her face turned sour. The incident earlier had really shaken her. She couldn't wrap her head around how just one word from Alexander could get Briar expelled. Knowing Allison had such a powerful ally made Yasmin pretty ticked off.
"What's Allison's deal with the Carter family?" Katya asked.
Already annoyed, Yasmin got even more irritated by Katya's question.
"How should I know? She's always been good at grabbing attention. Who knows what shady stuff she's been up to? Katya, you should steer clear of her, or you might get dragged into her mess!" Yasmin said, pretending to be all concerned. Katya gave her a skeptical look but kept quiet.
Before leaving, Alexander called Allison over.
"What's up with that boy?" Alexander asked casually.
Allison thought for a moment about how to explain Cameron's situation.
"He's a new transfer student, sits behind me. Something feels off about him. Maybe you should check him out?" Allison replied.
Alexander nodded, ruffling Allison's hair. "Leave it to me. You just focus on your classes."
Allison nodded and walked away with Mia. As Alexander was leaving the school gate, Briar's dad stopped him.
"Mr. Carter, my daughter knows she messed up. Please, forgive her this time!" Briar's dad pleaded, clearly terrified. He had just called the vice principal of Willowbrook High School and got an earful for crossing Allison.
He had just realized that Allison was someone absolutely not to be messed with. Those who had previously crossed her had gone bankrupt and vanished from Skycrest. The more he thought about it, the more scared he got. "Mr. White, having Briar expelled is my bottom line. If you push for more, I can't promise what I'll do," Alexander said coldly.
Briar's dad immediately shut up. "Don't worry, Mr. Carter, I'll handle this properly!"
Alexander walked past him, got into his car, and left. Briar's dad quickly completed her withdrawal and sent her abroad. Studying abroad was better than going bankrupt.
After this incident, Allison's reputation spread throughout the school, and Cameron's interest in her grew even stronger.
In the afternoon class, Allison was napping on her desk, but the teacher didn't seem to mind, which Cameron found curious.
During math class, the teacher, seeing Allison awake, quickly asked for her help. "Allison, I have a tough problem here. Could you solve it for the class?"
Allison glanced at the problem and nodded.
She quickly solved the problem on the blackboard. For her, it was a piece of cake.
She used four different methods to solve the problem, leaving Cameron in awe.
"The second and third methods are the simplest, so I recommend you use these two approaches. Although this type of problem isn't common, the concepts are important, so practice more," Allison explained. With that, she returned to her seat and continued sleeping.
The classroom fell silent as everyone copied the solutions. Mia was especially impressed.

"Allison, you're amazing. When we get home, I'll ask Felicity to make you something delicious!" Mia exclaimed.
Allison smiled and went back to sleep.
After class, Mia and Allison left the school together. As they stepped out, they saw Alexander standing by his car, and Mia ran over.
"Alexander, are you here to take me home?" Mia asked.
Alexander gave her a look and pointed with his chin. "Your family's car is over there. Go home!"
Mia pouted and walked away reluctantly, making Allison laugh.
Just as Allison was about to get into the car, someone called her name from behind.
"Allison, do you live at Oceanview Apartments? What a coincidence, I live there too. Shall we go back together?" Cameron approached with a bicycle, clearly intending for Allison to ride with him. Seeing this, Alexander frowned and quickly ushered Allison into his car.
"Cameron Simmons, what brings you here?" Alexander directly revealed Cameron's identity.
Cameron looked at Alexander and smiled, seemingly unsurprised that Alexander had discovered who he was.
"Sir, where I choose to appear doesn't concern you, does it?" Cameron shot back.
Alexander replied coldly, "Indeed, where you go is none of my business. But if you show up in front of Allison, it becomes a different matter entirely. Mr. Simmons, this is Novaria, not your territory. It's mine. If you approach my people, you'll face the consequences. Are you ready for that?"
Cameron's expression turned cold. Despite his young age, he held significant power within his family and wasn't as carefree as he appeared.
Being smart, he understood what Alexander meant.
"Mr. Carter, have you ever wondered why I'm looking for Allison? Yes, she goes by Allison now, but is that her real name?" Cameron asked.
Alexander's face turned even colder, and he grabbed Cameron by the collar. "Cameron, no one has ever dared to threaten me to my face, and no one can harm Allison. I don't care who sent you. But if you target Allison, you'll regret it. Don't think being young gives you an advantage!"
Letting go of Cameron, Alexander got into the car. Inside, Allison was on her phone, not looking out the window.
"Did you find out who he is?" Allison asked.
Alexander nodded. "An illegitimate son of the Simmons family. He's said to be highly valued, despite his young age. He's ruthless and controls the family's mercenaries and shady businesses. He killed his father at fourteen to take control. He's extremely dangerous."
Allison paused, looking at Alexander. She hadn't expected Cameron to have such a background. A murderous figure not even twenty years old-it was unbelievable!
"Isn't the school in danger then? We can't have someone like that here," Allison said, worried.
"He got in through the school board. Even the principal can't expel him. For now, there's no way to make him leave. I'll have someone protect you and Mia. He is dangerous; be careful," Alexander said.
Allison nodded, seeing the worry in Alexander's eyes, and tried to reassure him. "Don't worry. I'll be careful. Let's not act hastily. I want to see what Cameron's real purpose is here."
